✦ MONTAGE: "We noticed an interesting trend in club music where artists create ear-tingling sound design in high-energy club music. Songs From The Gutter tries to offer a selection of fast-paced post-industrial club music. The tracks bring together influences from everything from gabber, distorted drum 'n bass, spiky dancehall, and decayed pop. Maybe the title of the series speaks for itself to a certain extent.

With MONTAGE, we really like the idea of open calls, as we feel our eyes as 'curators' will always be more limited than what our listeners can come up with together. Any and all artists can apply. Info: Jive Circuit is the creative partnership of two Berlin-based artists whose music blurs the boundaries between electro, funk, and Detroit house. However, both draw inspiration from outside of club music, striking a balance between track and song.

Henry, known for his work as Henry3000, and Phyzikal Flex, runs the label Doom Chakra Tapes and has released on esteemed imprints like Warning, Oiwa Records and Magic Carpet. Vincent, releasing as DJ Death and Han Duo, has been featured on Doom Chakra Tapes, LAP Records, and his own label Enbeezee.

Together, Jive Circuit combines diverse influences and experimental energy to craft tracks that are as grounded as they are forward-thinking. Their work leans on contrast—space, weight, repetition.
