Most of the dreams I happen to remember occur during that time of confusion when I hear my alarm, snooze it, and go back to sleep again. And that small time period always feels like the most quality sleep I can ever get. Even if you have slept enough and you really need to get up to get ready to go on with whatever at that moment in your life needs your presence, that 5 minutes of being pulled by the infinite gravity of your bed is the sweetest escape that you will get. But escape, you will never.

That feeling of being late, losing that small chance of something somewhere aligning so perfectly or rather enough to feel like we have caught the time that will never stop running away. But somehow, when I can catch myself enjoying that space between sleep and awake, it feels like I can be alone and really alone with my own thoughts, emotions, and anything that makes humans persons. Even if it is not always peaceful.
