Based out of Bushwick’s Human Head Record store, California’s Shawn Dub and Germany’s Sticky Dojah bring you the „Records Before Rent“ show. Each month they play their latest finds and your all time favorites. Both won’t shy away from themed sets (their post election healing set was a favorite!) and often feature guests from all around the world.

Ken Okuda shares one hour straight from his record collection. Based in Berlin, he works as a DJ, music journalist, and researcher, drawing inspiration from many corners of dance music.
He co-founded SHUSH, a collective, sound system and label known for bringing soulful energy to local dancefloors between Berlin and London. Influenced by selectors like Theo Parrish and Sassy J, he moves easily across styles, blending different sounds into one smooth journey.

I try to play music that resonates with me in a profound way, in hopes that someone might also connect with it as well. Expect to hear music you have never heard before as well as classics that make you feel good. The show often includes a great mix of guests, often who are heavy collectors in the record community.
