Modelisme Records welcomes the italian producer Hydergine from Taranto, new comer on the label for this 29th release.
This Dub House Techno artist has already delivered some acclaimed releases on labels as Separate Skills, Tiefenrausch, Ranges, and gets a real "savoir faire" into mixing sound textures, subtle grooves, warm efxs and melodies.
Deeper EP is a perfect 4 tracks ep, axing different kind of dub moods in electronic music.
"Deeper" is the track where the crowd is catched on the dancefloor, in pure dub techno tradition, smoked and abstract, guided by a terrific groove and energy.
"Cosmic Dust" is a sweet deep techno track with floating and lovely melodies subtly arranged, invited us to a space trip.
And "Shades of Aloneness" is a beatdown dub deep house-techno tune, full of harmony, ready to seduce minds.
As remixer, the master Patrice Scott (Sistrum / Detroit) gives us an awesome and solid interpretation of "Deeper", with a very deep groove and floating rhythm box pads, linked by trippy harmonies.

Finally Hydergine joins the Knotweed Records family! Hydergine (aka Roberto Corizzo) is a techno producer from Southern Italy. He is best known for producing raw dub techno, and has come up with a string of fantastic releases in the last 3 years on labels such as Separate Skills and Ranges.We have been talking to each other since the early days of Knotweed Records, trying to find the right tracks for the label. Roberto approached us at the beginning of the year with some tracks that were a bit -different- than his usual productions: he was experimenting, and we liked it a lot. That s how the Gamma Experiments E.P. was born.The A side of the Gamma Experiments E.P. is a heavy atmospheric techno bomb. Both tracks on the B side have more an acid feeling to them, incorporating weird arps, rawness and pad trips.Enjoy the ride!

With the 10th release of our colored vinyl series we bring you the Decade Dubs. Bristol based new artist El Choop opens the edition with pulsating chords and synths in his track Unknown Landscape. Italian producer Hydergine takes you on a psychedelic mind trip with his energetic deep techno track Blue State Of Mind.

The flip side starts with Etui Records label head Insect O. With his dirty chords and wired echoes he is telling you the mystic story about the Ancient Architects. And finally Monomood returns to the label and proves his musically diversity. A mellow brass and a deep bass will give you goosebumps while dancing on the afterhour or just sitting in a smokey jazz bar.

The artwork is done by graphic designer and musician Daniel Madlung aka Dandytracks. It´s based on a photo of the Sea of Sand at Indonesia´s Mt. Bromo volcano, taken by Insect O.
