Welcome to Hydra Radio, a multi-genre mix series showcasing Hydra artists and special guests! Volume XXXII features our close friend out of Carson City, Peej!  The head of Biggest Little Collective and deep rooted member of the Reno/Tahoe Bass Scene, Peej has been a huge influence on the Hydra community on the west coast.  Recently he's played support for Zen Selekta, Sfam, & Harriet Jaxxon. With a ton of original music and tastefully selected tracks in his sets, Peej's live performances are always ones to not miss.  We're thrilled to be able to showcase Peej on the series, and looking forward to announcing an upcoming Biggest Little Collective & Hydra showcase collaboration in Reno!  Catch us May 4th at the Dead Ringer with some special guests! Peej was born in Carson City, NV into a very musical family. He started his musical journey at the age of 14 with the guitar. Spending 12 hours a day over summer break he was determined to understand how to make music with a six string. While in the Air Force, Peej was in his first band and started to branch his musical abilities into piano, drums and bass. It wasn’t until two years removed from his military commitment that he found finger drumming & music production. From that point forward he has been on a mission to get better in his craft, even dropping out of college to attend music school in San Francisco. It was during his time in the Bay Area that he was able to begin to find his sound and gain confidence as an artist. Peej has been on support for some of the west coast bass scene’s biggest artists to include: Ahee, DMVU, Pressha, Mr. Jennings, Xotix, Subdocta, Cambot, Antennae, Meso, Smoakland and many more. Additionally, he started the Biggest Little Collective (BLC), based in Reno, in April of 2021. Peej helped lead the BLC to stage takeovers at Stilldream, Full Bass Spectrum and Alive in the Desert. With a vision for his artwork and the work ethic to get it done, Peej has a bright future in the bass scene.
