We first met Raj, better known by his DJ moniker Aardy back in February during our travels through Thailand. Born and raised in Hyderabad, India, Aardy has dedicated himself to music for nearly 20 years, exploring the industry's vast landscape throughout Asia, Europe and North America. Today, Aardy finds himself at the forefront of a dynamic label - Hydrozoa Records. Turning out deep, ethereal techno tracks that lock dance floors into a hypnotic groove, Hydrozoa has firmly planted its feet at the centre of today's thriving techno community. On June 20th, Aardy released Kabuki - his second EP for the label. With a remix from Irishmen, Loco & Jam, the EP has been igniting dance floors with its powerful groove. We had the opportunity to catch up with Aardy to discuss his latest happenings, while also featuring him on this week's episode of the Godzilla Disco Podcast!
