MM Cast 13: Chida

Shinnoskey Chida, Dj Chida or simply Chida has been (and stil is) one of the most representatives institutions of the underground house scene in Tokyo for more than 30 years. Starting his career in the early 90's, he is one of those "Dj's Dj", flattered along his career by artists from the likes of Andrew Weatheral, Lindstrom, Mark E and Dr Dunks among many others.

Chida's producing and remixing skills are out of any doubt, in his career has worked with imprints like "Correspondant", "Not and Animal", and "Eskimo"to name a few, here at MM Discos we also have had the pleasure to have him as a remixer doing his thing with Coyote's Fragnatize me, track that for sure its burning many dancefloors  right now around the world.

"Ene Records" capo join us this month and we are amazed to introduce this obsessed music collector who has given his best by digging in his vast collection in order to deliver a very special mix where Balearic classics fusions along with underrated sounds from the always quality underground Japanese scene.

We are stoked to welcome British born, Boorloo residing Patrick Little AKA Shari-Vari Records for the seventh instalment of our ONOMIX series. 

Having moved over to our sunny shores a few years back, Patrick has lived and played records around London. Spinning at revered listening bars such as Brilliant Corners and was a mainstay presenter on the globally loved internet radio station NTS. Patrick now owns and operates Shari-Vari Records in the beautiful State Treasury Buildings at the heart of the CBD where you can find an incredible array of esoteric records of all flavours, hand curated by Patrick himself.

Patrick displays his breadth of taste in his beautiful ONOMIX here, spinning folk and outsider rock rarities. The perfect mix to sooth your soul post silly season madness. So recline, unwind, listen and enjoy!

I had fun with this one, it was a nice challenge to get a bit outside of my comfort zone for a change. 
First time playing an opening set. 
First time playing 2 hours. 
First time playing through a thunder storm. 
The first hour is a bit more eclectic and downtempo while the second half picks up the energy.
