Pariser frå Rindal. Slåtten har truleg Ragnvald etter far sin, Ole Bolme (1875-1952). Her hører vi Ragnvald Bolme i friskt samspel med ein gammal spelmannskamerat. Dei to spela mykje til dans og underhaldning på 1970- og 80-talet.

Renglender. Her kan ein høyre eit døme på at dei eldre utøvarane ikkje var redde for å «klatre» opp i posisjon.

Halling. Slåtten står i NRK si eiga registrering oppført som «Halling etter Jo farbror», altså Jo Volløyhaug. Knut spela inn 2 hallingar under denne innspelinga i 1952.

Halling etter Knut Volløyhaug. Dette er ein av slåttane som Knut Volløyhaug spela inn for NRK. Her blir det oppgitt at han er etter faren Ingebrigt Volleyhaug. Jon E. Resell var meldaling, men busette seg i Rennebu. Han spela i yngre år mykje saman med Knut, og gjekk over frå vanleg fele til hardingfele. Han var med og starta Meldal Spellmannslag i 1956.

Renglender. Her kan ein høyre bruk av ein nyare type tonalitet, klart durprega (a-dur), men heller ikkje her veltemperert. Såleis skil denne slåtten seg litt ut frå resten av dei vi har valt ut med Ola Nerlo.

Renglender. Denne blir spela på ein alderdomleg måte og er eit døme på ein vandreslått som finst andre stader i ei noko anna form.

Elisabet Skott (1909-1986) trallet ofte denne leken når hun var i fjøset. Derfor har denne leken fått navnet Fjøspolsen. På opptaket traller Elisabet først Fjøspolsen, og deretter framfører Brekken Spellmannslag leken med Elisabet på citer. Det er Reidun Aune som presenterer opptaket.

ANNAR GJELTEN, BREKKEN
Det finnes noen få hallinger igjen i distriktet. Mange kilder forteller at halling og pols var dansene som ble brukt før runddansene (vals, ringlender, masurka og hoppvals) kom på midten av 1800-tallet. Annar Gjelten (1934-2003) lærte denne hallingen av sin bestefar Faste Nordbrekken (1871-1953). Bestefaren fortalte til Annar at en av de siste gangene det ble danset halling i Brekken, var rundt 1877. Post-Anders hadde en variant av denne hallingen etter Henning Trøen.
