Empathy Audio returns with Surveillance Vol. 2, the second chapter of their cutting-edge compilation series.

This release showcases a diverse blend of forward-thinking producers from all across Europe, each bringing their own distinct take on the label’s evolving soundscape. 13 tracks from some upcoming and well-known producers in the scene are showing off the diversity of deep drum and bass. Surveillance Vol. 2 reflects the spirit of underground drum and bass music, pushing sonic boundaries while staying rooted in a dark and minimal niche.

At the start of 2025, Transparent Audio announced its focus on expanding and diversifying its core roster. We’re excited to reveal the latest addition to our family – the Bristol-based duo, Dubruvvas. These two incredibly talented artists have been on our radar for the past few years. We've crossed paths at various events in Bristol and shared many conversations about collaborating. It’s with great pleasure that we now welcome them to the Transparent Audio team.

Known for their mastery of minimal sounds, Dubruvvas have firmly established themselves as key players in the underground scene. Since first making waves in 2021 with their innovative approach to sound design, which blends rolling basslines with stripped-back drums, they’ve earned the respect of both their peers and audiences. Their unique sonic identity is unmistakable and continues to captivate listeners worldwide.

Their debut project with Transparent Audio, Diamond Bits EP, showcases the duo’s versatility with four distinct tracks, each reflecting a different facet of their dynamic sound. The EP also features a collaboration with none other than Bristol’s finest, Gusto.

We’re thrilled to be working with Dubruvvas and can’t wait for you to experience what they have in store.
