'DAP' marks the first release of PMG. When I said exploring « potential euro-folklore », it was not an empty facebook header statement. I really meant it. I went as far as Bucharest, Romania, home to the Carpathian Mountains to hunt down this magic club production duo ARME to help me craft this euphoric micro-hit that I have been relentlessly playing in all my Dj sets. Some vigilant listeners spotted its potential during the NYC Boiler Room, I have received numerous Insta messages describing it as the « Tokyo » song. A phonetic interpretation of the vocal hook. The name is not however « Tokyo », It’s called « DAP ». 

'DAP' is part of the 6 track "meteociel" EP out mid June on PMG.

𝘜𝘒 : Fashion Italia’s purpose is to reconcile our beloved Mother Earth’s troubled Yin Yang. He sees that pre-tear in your eye when you think about what’s coming between Humanity and Nature. A face to face between mankind greenlighting ‘selfie style’ magnification and Nature being not defenseless but alarmingly too patient. Yet are we not Nature too ? This question will be adressed in the 6 tracks of “Faut-il Manger les Animaux”* EP. Combining a ‘2.0 Eno’ approach to synthetic sound with the evocation of a fantastic candid philosopher puppy world, Fashion Italia digitally crafts a new “club” branch of “Deep Healing” music. No wonder Fashion Italia, as well as being part of future pop group Le Vasco, is involved in active local ecology. While we rant about pollution and mass production browsing Insta, Fashion Italia works on DIY wind turbines optimization, makes sure “free range” chickens are REALLY free range and teach all this practical know how to kids. IRL, Fashion Italia has a healing presence and so has this EP. Hoping this synthetic piece of neo druidic club music will alleviate your presence down here.

𝘍𝘙 : La musique de Fashion Italia entend réconcilier le Yin et Yang perturbés de notre planète terre. Recevoir les larmes de nos âmes post capitalistes en émoi devant l'emballement de l'humanité face à une nature non pas impuissante mais terriblement patiente. C'est en combinant l'approche expérimentale d'un Brian Eno avec l'évocation d'un monde fantastique dansant et candide d'un Robert Miles que Fashion Italia parvient à faire pousser une nouvelle branche “club” de la musique dite "deep healing". Fashion Italia est passionné d'écologie active. Contrairement à nous, qui pour la plupart nous contentons de dire "c'est pas bien la pollution" ou plus connaisseur "limitons l'élevage intensif", Fashion Italia fabrique des éoliennes DIY avec des tambours de machine à laver, s'assure que les poulets ont assez de mètres carrés pour s'éclater et transmet son savoir pratique aux enfants. Cet EP est donc l'oeuvre d'un véritable soigneur du vivant, travaillant avec une palette sonore qui s'étend des nuages à la lithosphère. En espérant que ce son néo-druidique aux accents synthétiques pansera vos plaies les plus deeps.
