One that fight for a collective shift to happen. The feeling of dystopia dwells in your mind like a shadow, forever. This mix is build like an eternal spiral, questioning human nature. Balancing between mystical roots, hopes and collapse. The spiral is the path.

ÆSTR, France-based DJ & Producer, began her artistic journey in 2010, as Yshar : a professional dancer and musician in electro-world live projects. Previously a bass player in a psyche-rock band in Paris, she performed for Hadra Festival and toured across France and Europe.

In 2011, she began producing tracks as ÆSTR, driven by her love for industrial, ambient and techno music. She fused it with psytrance to create psytechno tracks. She began djing in 2017 in the french cradle of electronic music : Grenoble. Now based in Lyon, she has established her DJ set signature : a strong foundation in Industrial Techno, enhanced by the harshness of rhythmic Noise, Dark Techno and the sexy groove of EBM. She creates an organic dialogue, punctuated by atmospheric vocals and metallic percussion. Her dance and music background allows her to create a mesmerizing, surprising and brutal experience. Playing with tension, emotions, ÆSTR’s sets are infused with revolt. She shared line-up with Ancient Methods, Crystal Geometry, and recently with The Hacker for his curated event with Legowelt.

Inyoung Son, an art university graduate, initially pursued menswear design before relocating to Japan to immerse himself in photography. His artistic practice subsequently expanded into music, evolving into a multidisciplinary identity rooted in sound and visual expression.

Son’s industrial-aesthetic music encompasses raw textures, percussive intensity, and ritualistic atmospheres, extending the material sensibilities of his visual art. For him, music constitutes an integrated form of expression, seamlessly blending auditory and visual experiences.

He has released mix sets on esteemed platforms such as HÖR, Brutal Forms, and Knife, and delivered impactful DJ sets for collectives in Korea, Japan, and Berlin. Notably, he is the founder of hyperborea., an experimental platform that explores industrial techno and beyond.

B.A.R.K is a Tokyo based industrial techno DJ who runs the label Experiment [Re-Cords] that combines Techno with Fetishism.
B.A.R.Kʼs dark and hard music style embodies the human emotions of pain, sadness, fear and anger in a fragile and dramatic way.
The unstable and distorted beauty that seems to break at the touch is very fleeting and very strong.

Kicking off the next season of our mix series, Redd Ophis. 

Tonia Nee, aka Redd Ophis, has always had a deep connection to rhythm. As a former competitive Irish dancer for 15 years, she developed a keen sense of timing through the intricate footwork and musicality of traditional dance. Outside of that world, and when not training for competitions — she was discovering electronic music, spending hours burning CDs filled with her latest finds. Eager to share them, she handed the CDs out at school and signed them with the playful nickname, ‘DJ T-Nice’.

For over a decade, Redd Ophis has been living in London, where her journey as a DJ began to take shape. Immersed in the city’s vibrant underground, she became a fixture in the scene and grew into her passions. She founded Synthapise, a project using music to support charitable causes, and co-founded Kollektiv Affair — built on fun, freedom, and a safe space for the LGBTQIA+ community. A peak moment of her career was representing Kollektiv Affair at Fabric and playing there in 2024.

She’s explored a wide range of styles behind the decks — from deep house and hypnotic techno to industrial, EBM, Italo disco, electro, breaks, dub, ’90s techno etc. — grateful for the journey each sound has offered. Today, she’s known for sets that blend raw energy with depth, drive, and emotion. She also featured her voice on End Train’s ‘The Day I Didn’t Want to Wake Up’, released on Code Is Law, with her lyrics challenging societal conditioning.

This mix was recorded live back in March @ Acid Reflux Waterbear W/ Operation 4.0, Redd Ophis, Reformist, DSD & Atoxyl.

PREMIERE : Adjust (BE) - Wandering Spirits [AFDS002]

Affine Dark Science continues its path from cinematic radio transmissions into label form with its second release: Wandering Spirits by Belgian producer Adjust (BE). Known for deep, atmospheric explorations, Adjust delivers a work that moves between dark ambient and deep techno, carrying a sense of introspection and cinematic depth.

Adding further dimensions to the release, Andrea Zapata (Perú) infuses her rework with shimmering textures and hypnotic momentum, while Yukari Okamura (Japan) transforms the material with a delicate yet shadowed resonance. Together, these reinterpretations extend the cinematic spirit of the EP into new emotional territories.

Wandering Spirits embodies the label’s dedication to profound, dark cinematic soundscapes, marking another chapter in Affine Dark Science’s unfolding narrative.

forged through a deep background in cinematic sound design. Expect brutal textures, crushing low-end pressure, and fractured,
irregular rhythms that defy expectations and reject dancefloor comfort.

Bio:
Rubén Seoane started collecting electronic music records 20 years ago. In 2011 he played for the first time at the legendary Moog in Barcelona, ​​where a year later he became a resident. Since then he has shared the stage with the best and brightest of the international electronic scene. He loves experimentation and is always looking for new ways to surprise his audience. As for genres, he doesn't like to limit himself, playing with techno, acid and industrial, adding more experimental subgenres to create a magnetizing atmosphere. In 2021 he released his first EP, “Disinformation” on Ancient Methods' record label “Persephonic Sirens”, last year he released his second EP “Solstice” on the same label.

Nitromi Galien 〜 Past Lives Storytelling 〜 Meet You Every Lifetime

Growing up in a post-industrial area surrounded by remnants of the former mining industry, Belgian-born DJ and producer Dario Desaer infuses these traces of the past to sculpt atmospheric compositions that intertwine with contemporary techno motifs.
Inspired by his fascination with the early industrial genre and its uniquely dark atmospheres, along with the surrealism of his favourite films, he creates compositions that resonate with raw emotion and unsettling energy.
In his work, Desaer crafts narratives that challenge perceptions, inviting listeners to lose themselves in each track, whether at home with headphones or amidst a club's sound system.
His music embodies a love for the hidden corners of nightlife, delivering a haunting and introspective sound that reimagines the dance floor as a space for both physical and psychological transformation.
As a surgical incision into the psyche, playing with quivering rhythms and abrasive textures, Dario Desaer’s productions and DJ sets offer a seductive dive into techno and underground club culture, ultimately capturing the raw energy of late-night raves where dimly lit clubs become sanctuaries for expression and freedom.

Brian Eric Castillo, conocido artísticamente como Xcire, es un DJ afincado en Madrid. Cofundador del sello Analog Decay Records y de Synth Techno Club, uno de los eventos más emblemáticos de la escena techno madrileña.

Su propuesta sonora, interpretada íntegramente en vinilo, combina texturas sci-fi, ritmos hipnóticos y atmósferas profundas que buscan generar una experiencia inmersiva en la pista de baile.

A lo largo de su trayectoria, Xcire ha compartido cabina con destacados artistas de la escena internacional como Surgeon, Reeko, Vertical Spectrum, Rrose, Denise Rabe, Zadig o Shifted, entre muchos otros.
