Authors comment: "When I was a boy, I remember singing “Holy, Holy, Holy” under the white arches of the temple. The words echoed — they carried me as much as they acknowledged Presence. When I wrote Sancti, I wanted a word that could carry the depth of “Holy, Holy, Holy” but in a more meditative way — almost like a mantra. Sancti holds the mystery of the Trinity within it, yet it’s simple enough to repeat into silence. I also thought about how it could resonate with those familiar with yoga practice, without borrowing other traditions. For me, it became a bridge: rooted in Christian prayer, open to seekers, contemplative and timeless." / C
