Delsin continues to celebrate the overlooked brilliance of Simon Walley’s exquisite electronica works as CiM with a deluxe reissue of his 2000 debut album Reference. Spanning 24 beautifully crafted miniatures, this is one of the definitive overviews of Walley’s intimate, introspective electro-techno sound.

From the crunch of bit-crushed drums to dreamy, swooning pads, everything in the CiM soundworld feels positively considered and elegant. His music has attracted a devoted following from those immersed in the world of deep techno and electronica. The concise run times of his musical ideas ensures there’s not an inch of plastic wasted on elongated intros or endless repetition. That said, fitting the whole of Reference onto one disc for the original deFocus pressing was something of a squeeze, with some tracks reserved for the CD only. With this newly mastered pressing, all 24 tracks are present across two 12”s, giving Walley’s peerless sound more room to breathe.

Delsin and sister label Ann Aimee have a relationship with Walley that reaches back to the late 90s, and they picked the thread of communication up last year with timely reissues of the Service Pack and Series Two EPs. Earlier in 2021, Delsin also released Unselected ProTracker Mods, a collection of previously unreleased archival works from a furtive but undoubtedly prolific artist.

Leck Meine Bahn - they are back! These two space cadets bring back home some heavy radiated elements from outer space. After a two year odyssey, they return back to mother earth with an insane Live Set (Backslash Festival 2022) and a Battery Point EP full of blasting fusion energy. Their musical capsule comes packed with new textures, mixed up with an unholy but tasty reduction of Jungle and Trance substances melting with a fusion of Bass Music and industrial space chugs.
This cosmologic sound match is leading to a new co-dependency between gravity and bass. Their enigmatic grooves are ponderous yet playful and every alien ear which listened to this intergalactic call so far, could not escape this quirky dance atmosphere. Brainwaves music commanders aka LMB are Estebahn and Yolek and this composition is their second EP which results to an extension of new boundaries in our further rave solar system. Including two massive remixes by Jan Loup and Nuevo Prohibido to beam up every sort of flesh to the the next bass portal. Space alert!

The town was quiet as night fell, the only lights which flickered ad flashed were those in the taverns and brothels which lined the dusty towpath. It was cold out here, cold and muddy. Very few travellers ever ventured this far out, for why would they?

Nobody wanted to live here, it was the type of place you might get stuck after a troublesome and unfortunate series of events. Yet despite all of this there was still friendship to be found amidst the chaotic undertones of this run down ramshackle town.

It was called Bogville, a fitting name for a fitting place.

Indopan is set to release a new album via 100% Silk – a longstanding US based label which has been a home to a variety of artists including the likes of Innergaze, Octo Octa, Luca Lozano and many more. The Cyclist has had a longstanding connection to the label having released material via 100% Silk many times. His latest project is under the guise of Indopan, offering a psychedelic outlet for leftfiield dance music burgeoning at the seams.

Vernacular Records is proud to announce the launch of a new series called “Vernacular Fields”. In this series, label worked with an Armenian photographer, Sarkis Torossian, who did the visuals. His work is not only about developing analogue photos of landscapes, there is whole transforming process of the image afterwards.
After developing, he digitalises the picture and modifies it to realise, by hand, monochromic prints on a drawing paper. 
The outcome is a unique visual on every print, worthy of a numerical paint. “Vernacular Fields” is about the work of a physical object on small series. The EP with a visual by Sarkis in a 10” format, a USB stick with the release and a digital file of the artwork, all inserted in a 10” vinyl cover. This will be limited to 20 editions, the EP will also be available in digital format.
In terms of music, the format is a 4 titles EP including a featuring with another Vernacular Records resident. This first series is opened by our resident Ashyl called “Polar Lights”. 4 tracks of “Epic Breakbeat”, thought as a journey around his universe, it includes a feat. With label resident Clery.
