Therapy is the first single ever from Hyperfield - an electro-pop track that features Edinburgh based vocalist Toni Sewell. 
The song delves into mental health and wellbeing; alongside the realisation that we all have feelings that we just don’t admit to, so bury them deep inside.
The song was mixed by Steve Whitfield (The Cure, The Mission, Jah Wobble) and mastered by Pete Maher (Goldfrapp, Lana Del Ray, Depeche Mode, Katy Perry).

Hyperfield is the pseudonym of UK songwriter, musician and producer Stanley MX.

Currently working on the first album during 2024, the tracks feature 5 singers, an Anime (more of which below), a Stoic blogger and a poet.

'Therapy' feat. the Edinburgh based Toni Sewell on vocals was the first single to be released from the album on 22.03.24.

The Hyperfield sound is inspired from lots of areas (UK Garage, D&B, Vivaldi, electro-pop, electronica, movie music, breakbeats, uk house, Debussy, french house, progressive house, dance and dub). Themes of human behaviour recur often in the lyrics.

The 2nd single 'Frenemy' feat. Samira Prentice was released on 31.05.24; to be swiftly followed with another track featuring Samira, called 'Society Sucks' (to be released on 28.06.24).

Anime MiniX also features as vocalist on 3 of the album's tracks, tipping a hat to the likes of Kraftwerk and Daft Punk; the single 'Sanctuary' (to be released later in 2024) being the first of these to feature MiniX.

Hyperfield songs are mixed by the incredible Steve Whitfield (The Cure, The Mission, Jah Wobble) and mastered by the superb Pete Maher (Goldfrapp, Lana Del Ray, Depeche Mode, Katy Perry).
