Long ago, two races ruled over Earth. HUMANS and MONSTERS.
The two races had faith that their peace would be everlasting...but in fact, it was only temporary.
Conflicts between HUMANS and MONSTERS broke out worldwide, and in almost every major battle, the MONSTERS were simply outmatched.
In one such conflict, the survivors of a decimated monster population were escorted into a massive high-security facility run by a HUMAN.
The MONSTERS could live a decent life on the inside, but they couldn't leave, or face severe consequences.
Some of these monsters see it as a sanctuary.
Others see it as a prison.
Which one you see it as can come entirely down to perspective.
And perspective is an interesting thing.
Sometimes all it takes is one variable...one surprise...
To completely change your mind.

ALCAU

So here it is. The final AU to be added to the Aftergore family. This one will be divisive for a lot of people, but it was chosen by the people, and therefore I will deliver. While it is tied to the main Aftergore universe via its main character, its plot does not bear consequence on any of the previous Aftergores, as it takes place after them chronologically.

Alcau tells the story of a facility far away from Mt. Ebott in which a new set of monsters is held after losing its own skirmish against humans. After managing to break free from the clutches of Mt. Ebott's Underground, our hero Nex finds himself in yet another holding facility for monsters where his life is at stake. He's quite a few miles off from where he used to be and quite a few memories off from WHO he used to be, but throughout his journey he'll regain his bearings, learn more about himself, and maybe even bring justice to a whole new population of monsters.

Hello, it's Spudward, the AU owner man here. I'm here to explain why the AU's slowed way down recently.

Essentially, AUs like this are hard. A full OST (or at least most of one) is a difficult job, and I'm a terrible leader quite frankly so that really doesn't help the whole issue. It can definitely be done, but I doubt I'll be able to get it done. 
So here we are, the AU's dying because of me. And because of this hurdle we're met with.

So we're removing the hurdle. Tracks will no longer come in order. We make them whenever we'd like to make them, and we'll try and get everything we can done eventually.

I'm sorry for the delays.

But we're back.

Hydromix is an AU where most of the major characters are from or are in some way tied to Waterfall. Sans takes the role of Toriel.

Howdy, everyone! I wasn't lying when I said I would be coming back from my long hiatus. Aftergore is a pretty big AU currently, so I thought I'd contribute some love and support for the AU. This is my 10th song cover, as well as my first ever "Toriel" track (specifically, a track that revolves around Toriel herself, not a Toriel-styled track like "His Hopes"), disregarding an unreleased "Fallen Down (Reprise)" cover. Fable of the Forsaken is an AU that takes place in the aftermath of a True Pacifist Run. Mt. Ebott, ravaged by the explosion of the CORE, is inhabited by a whole new slew of eldritch monstrosities. Follow the unassuming human Nex on their quest to stop the Protothers from exacting their revenge...one way or another.

Meet Jotuna, the Toriel replacement. She was the queen of the Protothers during the war between Protothers and Surface Dwellers, and was by far the strongest warrior. Even after the Protothers' defeat, she spent decades serving as a teacher for future warriors (before the Protothers finally fell into a state of stasis deep beneath the Surface). She now wants little to do with fighting, and has hidden herself away in Cryona Caverns, known by some as "the cold spot in hell."

At long last, after hours of work, here's a new "Reality's Reflection" track, specifically the menu theme. This has a lot more variations than Undertale's "Menu" track, and a lot more progressive changes.

Q: What AU projects do you own?

A: My AUs are as follows:
- "Leaptale: Dream Epic" (Leap!/Ballerina x Undertale AU with some original gameplay ideas) (currently on hiatus)
- "Reality's Reflection" (my take of Mirrored Inversion that attempts to be more like TS!Underswap in terms of expanding on characters' roles and how their actions shape the world around them) (in progress)

Q: Do you take song requests?

A: It's perfectly fine to request songs, and I'm happy to do them as long as I have the time and effort to spare.

Q: Will there be any special music events?

A: Expect the usual [insert 100+] follower specials and maybe birthday specials, but there may also be an Ebott Roulette once in a while. It helps to have a variety of tracks so I don't get tired out, y'know?

Q: Are we allowed to re-upload and/or extend any tracks?

A: I'm on the fence about unpermitted re-uploads or extensions, though when I have the resources on YouTube I may extend my own tracks someday. If you're very honest about the re-uploads and ask through DMs, then I may allow you to download it, but otherwise please try to hold off on it. Cool? Cool.

Q: What about comments related to AU projects? More specifically, can we post joke comments on your tracks?

A: If the track in question's nothing serious, then I don't mind joke comments, but please make sure to respect the official AU material, whether it would be mine or someone else's. I kindly ask that we don't put personality swap comments in tracks for my AUs because it would undermine the point of the characters and story of the AU in question.

Q: What's your music making software?

A: My current software for making tracks is Garageband 6.0.5, though I may get a new software someday to allow for a more conventional style.
