We are pleased to announce our first release of 2020, CIASQ025, Kolectiv - Hollow Point EP.

The London based duo have joined forces with three other producers to give us a five-track EP that showcases what we love about current drum and bass, whilst paying homage to the roots.

Parallel Depth is the lucky host of a collaboration between two already well established beasts: Pseudonym & Alex SLK ‘Skitz’ EP is here!

A month after their anniversary VA release the spanish firm steps firmely with their collection of artist releases with this EP coming straight out from the ‘gutta’.

The release counts with two original tracks and a collaboration between them. Skitz is a electric infused roller, dancefloor shoe breaker and gives name to the work for its anthem-ish sound. Nemesis hits hard with a cold minimal beat. And ‘Gutta’ puts the final note with that guetto-minimal influenced track plagued with Bristol reminiscences.

Spanish imprint Parallel Depth continue to sparkle and startle in the most brilliant of ways, bringing through only the very best from their homebase in Sevilla, on both a national and international level. For their latest EP, which arrives tomorrow August 4th, they've recruited Belgian beatsmith Medok, who continues to impress after a run of strong, upbeat productions. We've got the pleasure of premiering the lead track from his Parallel Depth release, entitled 'Mind Games'. It's a real beauty, harnessing sharp, shuffling breakbeat diagnostics, a pitch-perfect, swooping vocal and a delightful, partnered sub and pads combo that really puts the icing on the cake. Huge from Medok. We've also been given a sneak peek at what's to come over the next few months from Parallel Depth and trust us, it is well worth waiting for. Ears to the ground.

To bring the EP to a close, may we present the title track, 'Unease'. Starting off with a light patter of percussion, it doesn't take long for this track to take you in at the deep end with an assortment of eroded mid basses and a sub heavy enough to rock any rig. A bright synth flows throughout the track, carrying you from section to section creating that unsettling feeling to match the title.
