Niv Ast is an electronic producer and a DJ based in Tel-Aviv.
He’s inspired by the psychedelic waves of acid, the attitude of the Punk-Rock and the light headed groove of Disco.
In the last couple of years he’s been touring constantly around Europe, playing in iconic venues like Opium Club in Vilnius, Le Sucre in Lyon, Silencio & Petit Palace in Paris, ‘Calvi on the Rocks’ festival in Corsica, and The Block in Tel-Aviv, to name a few.
Niv Ast's brand new and very anticipated live show is a solid electronic performance which is based on his originals materials, designated for clubbing peak time hours.
It includes distorted electric Guitars, a percussionist, keyboards, electronic drums (SPDs) and hypnotizing vocals, creating a pounding and intoxicating experience, full of pleasurable hooks and acidic sounds.
His latest releases have seen light on renowned labels around the globe, such as Optimo, Correspondant, Ombra International, SC&P, Hard Fist, Relish, Calypso Records, Blue Shadow and many more. In addition, Niv Ast is the label boss of the imprint ‘New Day Everyday’ alongside Eliezer, which is an embodiment of their idea of dance-floor electronic music to the likes of Indie enthusiasts and disco lovers.

Mexican producers Colossio and Mijo joined forces to create a new project called "Sierra Madre", who offers a unique blend of techno and indie dance, influenced by the stories of Monterrey and Mexico City. Still enjoying considerable international acclaim off the back of his Third Eye EP on Multi Culti and Like A Dream on TAU, eminent Tel Avivan producer and label regular Genish now returns to Ya Hala Ya Hala with his latest original two-part offering, Missing / Monologue.

Introducing the double-sided cut with the undulating opener Missing – a production that was released by psychedelic choir and sleek rock ‘n roll band Radiant Reveries back in 2021 – Genish conjures a majestic blend of warped leads, swung triplets, and ethereal vocal refrains, all intertwined beneath an intricate web of bluesy guitar licks, warm basslines, and luscious instrumentation. Next up is the delectable closer, Monologue. Embarking on a captivating excursion of four-four rhythms and trippy, melodic sound palettes, Monologue sees Genish exploit his production credentials as he delivers a stunning new original that demonstrates his extensive musicality.

As a DJ, Mennez has been fighting the good fight for quite a while stirring up the nights in Valencia and Benidorm for years. As a producer, however, he is just kicking off his trajectory – and he couldn’t debut on a better label: The Spanish powerhouse Espacio Cielo is famous for opening its doors to skilled aspirant artists, and the team would never miss the opportunity of supporting another promising talent. The “Smooth Transition” EP comes with three well-constructed originals, one in collaboration with Sounic, another newcomer, and two outstanding remixes made by veterans Moo Moonster (SXDNS054/TAKEOVER002/RASTROLIVE008) & Futuristant (SXDNS353/FREEDL042) and Parissior (SXDNS206/FREEDL043/TAKEOVER002/BANDCAMP002/RASTROLIVE009), the label boss himself.

Premiered here, the title track is the result of the aforementioned collaboration between Mennez & Sounic. The Spanish rookies dressed in their space suits and flew up fast and high into their exploratory journey, bringing to life a Cosmic-Disco-infused theme that competently shows the credentials of the duo. The beautiful bassline, rhythmic percussive elements, melodic synth layers, and dreamy pad, together, constitute a must-have piece for the fans of high-quality Nu Disco/Indie Dance out there. Sinchi's Altered States collection is back with another forward-thinking collection of artists and music from across the electronic spectrum. This diverse selection is a testament to the A&R skills of the label, which remains a not-for-profit operation that donates all proceeds to its own foundation to support the preservation of indigenous culture.

Tel Aviv's Avi Sakorka opens up and has 20 years of experience behind him making everything from trance to new wave, deep house to downtempo, always with a storytelling melodic edge. He returns after a break of several years with 'Sunset With Tequila,' a summery and colorful sound that combines several influences into a lush electronic soundscape with new wave and disco energy and rich synth work.

Then comes Stevie R & Parisinos, a formable pair who run Inside Out Records. They have appeared on this label before now as well as Me Me Me Recordings, Playground Records, Hard Fist and many more, and work on experimental sounds as Alter Altamont. 'Aphrodite' is an excellently dark and alluring disco cut with a gurgling bassline and celestial melodies over rickety drum machines that keep you locked.

Italian duo Eys Sye and Rämin AKA The Hanumans got together in Milan and are resident DJs at the cult local party The Sanctuary in the city. Their 'Moon to Mars' is a stiff, acid-laced chugger that pounds its way to a disco amongst the stars.

Mexican DJ and producer Lovilla is next and is known for hypnotic melodies, energetic rhythms, and atmospheric textures. His 'Electro Futuro' is an emotional and vibrant tune with lyrics talking about a failed relationship from his past. It is about how he prioritised making music over friendships. "The sounds and the ambiance of the song is how I felt so afraid of the future but was determined that I wasn't going to give up." As such it's a moody and alluring dark wave disco cut with tender melodies and introspective chords.

Tel Aviv-based DJ and producer Magos plays and produces vibrant music that combines indie dance pleasures with acid techno and Middle Eastern instruments. His superb 'Sora' is a track that will make you jump thanks to its elastic bass and signature foreign language vocals - it's curveball and crazy and brings something different to the dance floor.

Milan's Irene Radice makes music to invoke real freedom and has had support for it from the likes of BBC Radio 1 as well as featuring on labels like Renaissance. Her 'Wake Me Up' is a lithe and colourful cosmic trip with elastic synths and bass making you move every limb as the synth-laced adventure continues to take you higher.

Altered States Vol.9 is another brilliantly broad mix of fresh electronic sounds from talents all over the world.

Following their astounding appearance on the ‘Muy Duro Vol X’ compilation, these skillful producers come together once more on a sonic journey that blends the intricate nuances of trance and techno, creating a unique musical experience.

The record kicks off with a hypnotic awakening through the original version of "Shifting Sands". This track is a whirlwind of energy, a fusion of acidic elements and dreamlike atmospheres. The journey delves into a new dimension with Elfenberg's remix. The virtuoso Swedish producer transforms "Shifting Sands," bringing his distinctive approach to the mix. With its broken drum rhythms, resonating basslines, and acidic melodies, Elfenberg weaves a hypnotic sonic tapestry. The addition of ethereal vocals and celestial pianos creates an astonishing sound palette.
