I was fortunate enough to have my entry selected to be included on @wearenova's latest various artist compilation 'AUDIOCLASH: POP REMIXED', a collection of, as the title suggests, remixes and revisions of classic & well known pop music titles, as seen through the new lens of each remixers style. Naturally when I saw that Nine Inch Nails' 'Closer' was one of the tracks listed available, I jumped at the chance to secure my position. I hope you enjoy this revision of 'Closer'.

Western classical theory - and by extension a lot of "modern" (to y'all, I assume) pop music theory - is all a semi-racist lie anyways. There are many ways to explain why a song "works" and why rhythms and harmonies behave the way they do in context to the music. Take my analysis with a grain of salt.
