Kechnaoba - Old Georgian Game

Kechnaoba, კეჭნაობა (ravine fencing), the same as "fight", the same as "cutting". Widespread fencing in Khevsureti with swords and small shields.

During fencing, they also used combat rings worn on the fingers, which were called "Sathiten". Fighting techniques were taught to children from the age of 5-6. According to the Roman historian Dion Cassius (2nd century BC), while in Georgia, Pompeius got to know Pshav-Khevsuri fencing, "If they were used in the battle of armory, and it is said that their training with a sword is similar to the use of a sword and a shield at home." 

The chronicler also mentions that the fencing Pshav-Khevsurs were part of the personal bodyguards of the King of the Iberians.

KECHNAOBA

The Italian techno duo Wizard K, formed by DJs Aldyno and Corraus, stands out for their passion for vinyl, which they have cultivated since the mid-90s. This four-handed, four-turntable project offers exclusive vinyl sets, blending tracks and tools of techno to create a unique sonic experience. Sound substrates, percussion layers, and hypnotic textures make their performances an unmissable musical journey, a true sound tunnel.

For 10 years, they were the founders and managers of the Wizard Club in Rome, a space entirely dedicated to the legacy of Jeff Mills. They are also resident DJs and promoters of the Timeless events and festivals in central Italy, solidifying their influence in the local techno scene.

After a process of realignment with himself and his music and eleven prolific years of production filled with remarkable releases, a change needed to happen .
Formerly known as Robert S (PT) ,portuguese techno artist returns as Robert Hoff. This time to stay, signaling an transition in the work of the young talented producer .
On this release Hoff delivers three finely cut techno tools and joining in ,Stanislav Tolkachev with a robust remix of Cytoskeleton.

The release opens with “Anhihilation”, a moment of reflection. Darkness and hope combining,
Shifting layers of noise carefully designed to begin the journey.

Cytoskeleton is a raw,highly hypnotic peak time techno weapon .
Guaranteed to bring energy to the dance floor with it’s rolling percussions and bass.
Well supplied with a guttural synth and an amazing sound design ,unfolds into a powerful combination to show clearly Hoff’s intentions.

If playing with sounds and turning them into pure energy seems to be a must for Hoff, in “Multicellularity “ this is quite noticeable. The tension build up rewarded with the incisive sound structure and a ceaseless rhythm.
