Lisbon circuit regular Black Pomade is a DJ and producer originally from Milan (Italy), active since 2007.

Heavily influenced by the NY Disco scene and the Chicago House originators, he's known for his melting-pot of analog synths, groovy basslines, and syncopated beats.
When he's behind the decks, expect lots of House, Disco, and Funky records, filling the dance floor with high energy and big smiles.

Throughout the years he played at clubs and festivals around Europe, including places like Milan, Vienna, and Sofia. He also contributed to radio shows in Melbourne, Pittsburgh, Skopje, São Paulo, and Ibiza. Besides founding the Ruínas collective and record label, he released music on Modmotif, Dig This Way Records, Youngbloods, and on the Windmill Re-Edits, with a 7" EP.

For 2022 he has releases scheduled on Last Forever Records and Rollover Records, besides the launch of a brand new edit series on vinyl.

Lisbon circuit regular Black Pomade is a DJ and producer originally from Milan (Italy) active since 2007.

Heavily influenced by the NY Disco scene and the Chicago originators, he's known for his melting-pot of analog synths, groovy basslines, soulful lyrics, and syncopated organic beats. When he's behind the decks, expect lots of House, Disco, Italo, and Funky records flowing through the speakers, filling the dancefloor with high energy and big smiles. His good vibes already brought him to play international gigs outside Portugal, in places like Vienna, Sofia, and his hometown, Milan.

2020 was a prolific year for Black Pomade in terms of releases. In April, he released the single "Marine," an Acid Italo Disco track in collaboration with the photographer Eric Bouvet and the art gallery MONO. In May, he was invited to give his touch to "Cages," from the Brooklyn-based band Sontag Shogun edit on Youngbloods, and "Cash Back," edit on Modmotif.

He's currently finishing his first physical release and working on the soundtrack of an improvisational dance performance to be held in July.

Having played alongside the likes of Demuja, Marcelina Wink and Nicky Siano, music has allowed him to travel and share his love of music that fills dance floors with high energy and big smiles everytime he plays.
