After her blistering remix for Pleasurekraft's "Last Sapien", Jo shows off her unique voice in crafting driving grooves with muscle that give birth to moments of melodic drama - never letting up on the gas. Enzo Monza's new EP on Hypnostate is a stunning release that marks his label debut. His production is top notch and filled with solid grooves and hypnotic atmospherics.

'The Club' opens the album and instantly sets the tone. It's an upbeat and energetic track constructed of thumping bass lines and subtle synths. It's propelling beats get the listener in the mood to dance and the great production means the track never gets boring.

'Your Shadow' is a bit more ambient than the previous track but still keeps the energy high. The mellow rhythm and sweeping synths build throughout the track leading to a great climax.
Finally, 'Enter' brings the release to a stunning conclusion with its intricate synth lines and lush textures.

Through this EP Enzo Monza proves himself to be a master of the genre and an exciting artist to watch in the future.

Next up on Simina Grigoriu’s ever-reliable label is adroit DJ and fastidious producer - the Italian born Don Weber.

Despite his relatively young age - Weber has amassed an expansive and gilded catalogue of productions that have earned him stripes amongst Techno dignitary such as Adam Beyer, Richie Hawtin, Charlotte de Witte, Joseph Capriati, Sam Paganini and Alan Fitzpatrick. His work has touched labels like Analytic Trail, Respekt, Phobiq, and Orange Recordings and has consistently been built from tough, functional bones, powerful drums and emotive melodies. 

Here - after a production hiatus - we see Don return with a recasting of his sound as he dims the lights and lines up a rough, gritty single for Kuukou. 

'Listen' launches off with a nails kick that rips underneath a body of twisted, looping sonics. A jagged motif charges up a frenetic, floor-focused energy that continues to swell towards the track's breakdown. A pause for breath unfolds before the vibe re-charges and powers through until the end of a bold and brazen DJ tool.

Belgian duo @joyhauser are perfectionists, and it shows. Their releases aren’t sent out into the universe until they’re just right, and the Think People EP is a fulsome explosion of powerhouse techno, crafted with meticulous care. 

The title track is a barnstormer loaded with everything you need to ignite a warehouse: pumping kicks, synth blasts mimicking smoke machines, and huge bassy blurts that cut through the mix like an oncoming train. “Molly” doesn’t let up where that let off. Rattling percussion and haunting synths are the precursor to a cheeky voiceover that confirms exactly which “molly” they’re talking about. Lashes of acid heighten the energy, creating a trance-like state that endures for the duration. @michaelkleinberlin’s remix of “Think People”, meanwhile, bears the German producer’s trademark energy. Ravey synths peal over the top of a delicious thump, snatched vox and an incessant shuffling beat, trading the bite of the original for something slightly less dark.
