Cagey is a punchy cocktail of sly bass hooks, raw machine grooves, and found sounds, all tied together by vocals that shape-shift from staccato statements to haunted murmurs and back again. Featuring six tracks including a remix by Colombian producer Filmmaker. The opener Cagey sets the tone with an elastic, Liaisons Dangereuses-esque bassline coiling around its tail and a propulsive electro beat juxtaposed with the track's cadenced vocals. Blynde amps up the hypnotic feel a notch by throwing a momentum-building bass, snatches of words from the experimental film Anti-Clock, and detached vocals into the blender. The result is street electro evoking a secret discotheque in Rimini in 1985, overtaken by disaffected mutants. Ending the A-side is the slow burner Lawn Preacher, which builds cinematic tension with a synth hook straight from the depths of Ralf Hütter's subconscious. The sly hip-wrecker Coast to Coast kicks off the B-side by setting the tempo to a syrup-laced new beat pulse. This is the soundtrack for a car cruising along the outer reaches of a tropical beach at night. Next, Slovak Casinos picks up the pace with funky techno at its dirtiest. The track's coy vocals beckon the listener to enter a dizzying gambling world of random numbers, slot machines gone kaput, and card counters losing track. On the record’s final track, Colombian beat wizard @flmmkr kicks the gears into turbo drive on his demented speed-addicted remix of Slovak Casinos. Cagey is defined by a dry, cheeky irreverence that keeps it uncompromisingly fresh and forward-leaning. Prepare yourself for a mind-altering experience with each listen, as this record sets a new standard for electronic music operating at the outskirts of the dance-floor.

● We're excited to unveil our latest digital release on the Meta Moto platform. Poladroïd, originating from Belgium, the featured producer is renowned for blending electro and IDM with a fierce energy, notably showcased on labels like Science Cult and his own Roulette Rekordz. However, Poladoïd offers a departure from his usual style with this release, which feels like a spiritual successor to his previous work "Eurosiberie" on Detriti.

Drenched in dense, filtered atmospheres and infused with nostalgic echoes of a bygone era, 'Danse Macabre' exudes a dark and gritty ambiance, straddling the realms of retro-futurism and melancholic machine melodies. “Room is sparsely lit and pierced by random strobe lights.The central working desk is drowning in cables and intermittently flashing machines that are played (and to some extent controlled by) eight lab personnel. 

The energy flows from the centre and forms a circle of moving and dancing bodies until late in the night. The world seems to be in a state of advanced decadent decay. It is evident that people are increasingly breaking and growing apart. This lab experiment should effectively save some souls from this process, or at least postpone the point of no return a bit for them.

Participate in the experiment by playing this recording loud, and let us know about the results in the morning.Recorded at "Synth Jam" improvisation session in Zagreb at Surogat Club, December 2023.”

Bakalas Vol. 01 aims to make known new talents from Hypnotica Colectiva's circle. Artists whose music captivated us because of their ability to reflect the influence of this new aggressive face of techno that recently came into the scene, and where we find traces from genres such as hardcore or styles within techno itself such as Industrial or Birmingham.

The chosen for opening this release is Squaric. The distortions number one fan, as he proves to be through his works on Diffuse Reality (his own platform) and Subsist Records (the label where we heard of him for the first time). Ravereando is a dark and corrosive track, where Squaric pushes his acid machine to the limits during a trip through apocalyptic landscapes accompanied by the rhythm of his characteristic drumming.

A2 is for our fellow, Raszia. With this one he demonstrates again this is the sound where he fits best. With his brutal kick drum and hypnotic bassline, Flashback sends us back in time directly to the stunning sound of the 90s without a pause.

Uncrat is a young Italian producer who we augur great success. Clearly influenced by IDM and avant-garde electronics, his music goes from the most epic and haunting side of techno to the broken rhythms and noises of the experimental and industrial. B1 track, Morney Rusmelt, is one of his more hard-hitting works. Instant reaction on the dancefloor is guaranteed.

The mysterious Group, whom we welcome to HC Records, closes the release with another of his unnamed experiments. A journey into the bowels of the heavy machinery used to compose his dystopian soundscapes.

After 10 years working as a collective in order to create a movement where the musical aspirations that define us had their place, in Hypnotica Colectiva we have taken the decission of expanding our horizons and thrown ourselves into the rest of aspects that conform electronic music culture.
One of the results of this decission is Hypnotica Colectiva Records, the platform where we'll try to reflect our musical values.

Without any inhibition, without labels, without expiring date, without any predominant doctrine. Our intention will be to publish the work of all those artists that we could identify with. The known, and the yet to know. As you could be.
