Ointment says: HOT STINK was ad-libbed after getting in from a particularly gnarly bike ride on an oven hot day in Montréal circa 2017. The “bins brunes” baking in the sun led to rank winds blowing into our faces. After laughing with fellow songwriter Di Daly about this particular sour odour we wrote the song and then abandoned it. Listening to a recent Josh Johnson Show episode where he's talking about how hot it has been lately reminded us of its' existence. Raw, ridiculous and unintended for release we through we'd launch it your way and see where it lands?!

Mashup of "All I want for Christmas Is my Two Front Teeth" (Donald Yetter Gardner, 1944) and "Winter Wonderland" (Felix Bernard & Richard B. Smith, 1934).
