This song was written for the folks of the big island of Hawaii. This song involves a little bit of pigeon which is the simpler version of english the Hawaiians use. I also use a small amount of Hawaiian. Olelo which means to speak, Aina for the land and Maikai for good or very good. Kuuipo in the first verse meaning my lady or my love.
