@SubkoOne - (https://soundcloud.com/subkooneresetsubohm) belongs to the young wild scene of Chemnitz's nightlife.With Reset Crew, he revives an off-venue and stands for radical freedom of the underground rave culture of his hometown. From this endeavor, he draws the energy that flows into his Dj sets and his label SubØhm.  His style is rooted in industrial techno with restrained pathos and just the right amount of Trance. The determination and the spirit with which he pushes his projects have convinced us at Hypress. He will soon release a  first VA compilation will. Stay tuned...

After a longer break of our Hypress Friends Mix series we are very happy about @rrrarrri s contribution. If you're out and about in Leipzig or interested in stylish innovative bass music streams/podcasts, you can't miss his Air Waves (@airwavesradio)shows at Callshop Radio (@callshopradio) and Radio Blau. With his contribution comes the guilt conclusion to our own origins. With his intuition and his massive repertoire of all bass music genres. Bassmusic is always the frame for him. Even if the mix is a bit more untypical for Rarry, he knows how to harmonize 4/4 beat with 90s rave and breakbeat. is background and bass influences are unmistakable. He also lets the local reference to the national Electro/Bass scene flow in with various tracks from labels from Berlin and Leipzig like @wetpakrec, @warningberlin, @clearmemory and @radiantlove.

It's exciting to imagine the development of her sound as a resident of the PVC Crew, as she continues her journey of sound discovery in techno hibernation. Already now you can find acid or psy elements in her sets. Have fun and rave on.

(@xenianogravity) Xenia Nanou regularly presents her own show on Athens Movement Radio. In addition, the native Greek is currently revitalizing the techno scene of Vienna with her music. While Polyxena was the lover of Achill, she devotes a lot of time and passion to acid, electro and breakbeat as Polyxene. With the experience of a sound engineer she also has the skills to prod the dancefloors with her style. We are very happy to have her on Hypress. It's almost like we were just waiting for her to bring the trademark sound of our label together in one mix. Acid meets Leftfield. Bass meets techno.

We would like to take the opportunity to introduce Katja Schorstein as a new member and let you pick up from her almost two-hour Dj Mix for Hypress . @catjes-official  is officially hired to dish out :-). The uncompromising nature of her daily business reproduces itself in goosebump and tear-down moments in her Dj sets. For she, putting on music is not determined by any whim. The crowd is supposed to work for ecstasy.  The crowd is supposed to dance! At the end of the day, you're left with a sense of exhaustion and the feeling that you've achieved something together. Gritty electro and techno was spoken after she had a podcast for "Resident Advisor" this year. She used a track from Hypress at the time. Her Mix for our Hypress Friends Series  is a great starting point for getting to grips with her sound!

Labels bisher größtes Werk dient als Werkschau und gleichzeitige

In the current situation, many artists, have little opportunity to indulge in their passion for music with a live audience, but they keep sharing in many ways.  Hypress is happy to keep releasing and promoting music as outlets and connections are needed now more than ever. Today, we present @Matvrak as her taste for Electro, Techno & Acid perfectly reflects our own inclinations.  Matvrak  is part of the Vinka Kart collective. She moved from Hamburg to Berlin, and became a resident of "Zur Klappe »  one of Berlin’s most notorious mini club. She’s pushing her production skills, and we’re excited to here what she comes up with. In the meantime,  enjoy her mix and stay tuned, as we’ll soon be releasing an EP by Volta Cab including remixes @Cardopusher and @Dj Overdose!
