Inbound this summer on insurgent drum and bass label Evolution Chamber comes a collaboration of epic proportions from three of its co-founders. Fast-rising international duo Magnetude and Russian Neurofunk lynchpin Receptor have joined forces for the anthemic new single “Goodbye”.

Both known for striking a fine balance between sparkling melodies and dizzying crescendos, Magnetude and Receptor make for a hotly anticipated tag-team, with the two acts collectively boasting some seriously impressive credentials.

With past releases via D&B strongholds RAM Records, Viper Recordings and Eatbrain and glowing endorsements from BBC Radio 1’s Rene LaVice and DJ Target already in the bag, Anglo-Russian twosome Magnetude have forged a path for themselves as some of the genre’s finest innovators, while long-standing Moscow-based DJ/producer Receptor has been heralded as a pioneer of the Russian scene, working with everyone from Noisia to Black Sun Empire.

“Goodbye” finds the three creators each bringing their A game, coming hot on the heels of their latest releases on Evolution Chamber – titled “Trail of Tears” and “Avocado” respectively and both released in 2020. Bringing together reverberating guitar licks and floaty pads, it’s a whirlwind of a track, flitting between shuffling, trip-hop-esque breakbeats, junglistic rhythms and trance-leaning four-to-the-floor sensibilities – punctuated by twinkling, happy hardcore-inspired leads and euphoric vocals – to make for characteristically spellbinding results.

Burr Oak is the new collaborative project from The Clamps and Opsen (formally known for his part in the production outfit Signs). With both parties having already made their mark within the roster of Trendkill, the imprint created by drum & bass figurehead Prolix, their names will be familiar with many veteran fans of the genre. But their joint prowess, alongside the massive body of tracks they’ve already got prepared for release, proves that their output is set to be a turning point for Trendkill. And this is from a label which has had a groundbreaking discography since its inception.

After almost 20 years of club business and countless nights of dancing under mirror balls, Luna Club, which is based in Kiel, brings together a selection of music from friends and family, to make up for the financial losses due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation. The whole compilation features songs from artists like Monkey Safari, Till von Sein and many more and it will be released in parts with 4-5 tracks on each output. Buy this compilation and literally "Save The Night", as well as one of the oldest institutions of Germany's club scene.

With the ‘’Fast Forward EP“ we’ll take things to a new energy level. It starts off with Hannover-based artist Dirty Frequenz who delivers a fast paced house banger followed by local artist Beauty & the Beats who joins forces with the yet unknown producer Powersword on ‘’The Heist’’. This track has been part of his sets for some time and is a perfect representation of the power he shows in his live performances. Things take a turn into techno territories when Ekserd steps into the ring. ‘’As The Bell Rang’’ is a five minute and 45 second long knockout, which is sure to set dancefloors on fire. Last but not least Subz & Matik provide a Drum’n’Bass masterpiece called ‘’Red Lights’’, reminiscing the countless nights of their Luna Club residency.
