Originally from Pontardawe, South Wales; Hywel Jones studied music at Goldsmiths, University of London. He has played a wide variety of styles as a Trombonist/Euphoniumist (he currently plays with Free Improv Group The Apocalypse Jazz Unit, Rapper WONDRWOMN and Drone Group Endolyph to name a few). He is also an avid composer with an interest in Maths and Music and Improvisation/Indeterminacy. He recently started his own project Mr. Jones' Loud Music Group to perform his own compositions exploring these interests.
