HOWLITE RELEASE FIERCE AND STORMY REMIX OF 'BLOOD TYPE'

‘Blood Type (electro-orchestral remix)’ opens with the ethereal vocals of frontwoman Alison Thom, backed with subtle electro instrumentation that quickly envelope the indie foundations. Remixed by French artist mokroïé, the tracks emotive vocal harmonies melt away beneath dynamic orchestral elements, delivering a powerful climax, captivating in the same vein as bands such as Kaleida and The Knife.

The original track closed out Howlite's recently released EP ‘Not Here’, filled with pillowy-pop, indie brilliance and garnering attention locally and internationally .  Rolling Stone described the sound as “brooding, borderline folk, but inches-from-pop” with KALTBLUT Magazine claiming “Howlite are a much welcomed escape from reality at this moment in time.”

Alt-pop trio Howlite return to form with their luscious single 'EVERYTHING WILL HAPPEN' in support of their upcoming third EP of the same name.

Teaming up with producers Tyson Fish (Vance Joy) and JP Fung (Lime Cordiale), the track is a sublime slice of indie-pop, full of cloud like synths and heavenly vocals, inspired by electronica acts such as alt-J, Perfume Genius, Frou Frou and Röyksopp.

Melbourne alt-pop trio Howlite unveil the final single ‘Sensitive’ ahead of their forthcoming EP. Accompanied by a stirring new video clip, Sensitive is a cathartic, festival-ready anthem that captures the delicate balance between emotional vulnerability and raw power.

Howlite unveil rich, otherworldly pop with ‘Stranger’, from their upcoming EP 'Not Here'. 

‘Stranger’ is the striking new single from Melbourne band Howlite that hooks you in early with it’s triumphant, all-enveloping choral loop. Peppered with pop dynamism, Alison Thom floats above an undercurrent of trip-hop inspired beats, her brooding vocals carrying you towards the climatic, uplifting chorus. Reminiscent of Billie Eilish and Portishead, it’s within the sparse details that ‘Stranger’ truly defines itself. Masterfully mixed by producer JP Fung (Last Dinosaurs, AViVA), the track manages to uncover the downbeat, otherworldly pop centre of the band, underpinned by captivating, soulful vocals. 

‘Stranger’ is the final track to be released from the bands forthcoming EP, ‘Not Here’, and builds on the ethereal, indie foundations of previous singles ‘Infancy’, ‘Reducer’ and ‘Olympia’ - tracks that garnered praise around the country, and growing interest through Europe. Thom’s lyrical prowess, set against a backdrop of dark pop, showcases a band that’s not afraid to strip back the layers and embrace sincerity.

Stranger

“Reducer” is the first taste from Howlite’s forthcoming EP "Not Here", their most fully-realised and ambitious release to date. The single showcases a more unified, cohesive sound, which sees the band shed their folk roots for something far more expansive and brooding. This more direct, dreamy sound is the result of lush, immersive vocals, propulsive guitars and trip-hop inspired beats.
