Distinctive music and sharply discerning lyrics. Art should be difficult.  Art should hurt.  It's not worth saying if it's easy to say.  

I've been critically thinking and creatively perceiving from a legion of perspectives since 1987.  I Killed The King because one is not more important than many.  Hence, my first project, which is inspired partly by Evelyn McHale and partly by my wonderful wife and fellow adventurer Jamie, known as Pretty Little Death, is my exploration of life from separate unique angles. Not just my life or lives close to mine but all lives are in peril of being my muse. 

The mindful life considered and often ignored for experience. My personal story can't compare to all stories but suffice it to say that it trumps many.  Meet ego.  The King.  

For now Pretty Little Death is still an open project and everything I work on will be focused in that direction.  Expect PLD to end with an idea akin to Letters to Evelyn. 

Singer/Songwriter. As a catchall genre term folk or folk rock might best describe this. Acoustic guitar and singing is better.  Maybe similar to Blind Pilot or City and Colour.
