Biography:
I-sistance is a reggae band from Aachen founded by the drummer of the band early 2014. 
After four months of hard work in the rehearsal room, the first concert in Aachen KingzCorner was played. 
Besides own riddims with profound lyrics, various cover songs were heard.
I-sistance is derived from the word "Resistance" and derived from the Rastafari movement phrase "I and I". 
This is intended to express on one hand the concept of spiritual unity and on the other of creative resistance.
The band I-sistance do not want violent and negative message to be spread, but to express in subject of their songs the difficulties and the beauty of life that we all face. 
I-sistance uses traditional One Drop riddims with Dancehal, rock and jazz influences. Currently the band is working on their first album. 
In their concerts, the band considers it important to convey a positive message to their fans.

Biografie:
I-sistance ist eine Reggae Band aus Aachen die Anfang 2014 vom Schlagzeuger der Band gegründet wurde. 
Nach vier Monaten harter Arbeit im Proberaum wurde das erste Konzert im Aachener KingzCorner gespielt. 
Neben eigenen Riddims mit tiefgründigen Texten waren verschiedenste Coversongs zu hören.
I-sistance leitet sich von dem Wort „Resistance“ und dem aus der Rastafari Bewegung stammendem Begriff „I and I“ ab. Dies soll zum einen das Konzept der spirituellen Einigkeit und zum anderen des kreativen Widerstands zum Ausdruck bringen.
Die Band I-sistance möchte keine gewalttätige und negative Botschaft verbreiten, sondern behandelt in ihren Songs die Schwierigkeiten aber auch die Schönheit des Lebens mit denen wir alle konfrontiert werden. 
I-sistance verwenden in ihren Stücken traditionelle One Drop Riddims mit Dancehal, Rock und Jazzeinflüssen. 
Zurzeit arbeitet die Band an ihrem ersten Album. 
Bei ihren Konzerten legt die Band Wert darauf eine positive Botschaft an ihre Fans zu vermitteln.
