Originally from Georgia, Irakli’s early descent into the German capital has seen him corner and develop a side of the local scene and turn it into something of an international affair. Five years ago he created STAUB, one of Berlin’s most celebrated techno parties. As a part of the production duo I/Y, he has been releasing music under the synonymous co-founded label. But most of all, Irakli’s craft behind the decks has been weighed upon by the likeliest of Berlin’s underground venues, namely Tresor, Berghain, and Griessmuehle, with his vision of electronic music taken further afield in Europe and the Americas. In 2017 he founded the Intergalactic Research Institute for Sound with artists like Stanislav Tolkachev, Natalie Beridze, Rezo Glonti, and many others. 

Irakli also heads up a burgeoning convey, diving into exploratory concepts of ambient, hued by the tones and colors of his homeland, Georgia. Adding orchestral collaborations and sound installations to a field of work outside of the club, Irakli’s expanding platforms and industrious connection to Berlin have seen his entry point into the scene now serve as an outlet into the more abstract, experimental realms of techno. With new endeavors afoot and a creative repertoire to boot, Irakli’s DJ sets, labels, and parties always display unique qualities. It does not matter whether he is exploring beatless soundscapes or high-energy techno music; Irakli always manages to create something special.

Jonas Kopp - Blue System 

The Blue System is based on a network of blue silicon crystalline rollers, rotating at high speeds of between 140 and 150 bpm. 

These rollers are located on the mental plane of humanity to prevent incoming and outgoing negative electromagnetic radiation between satellites and relay bases located in different coordinates of the Earth.

Second Edition of Recollections by Rezo Glonti

During the Soviet era, art often had to align with propaganda, seemingly fostering a symbiotic relationship between the state and its people. Consequently, in the realm of “Social Realism,” most forms of artistic experimentation were strongly discouraged and even punishable. With few exceptions, 20th-century Georgian classical/chamber music remained quite conservative; however, when faced with dysfunctional cultural phenomena, there will always be gaps in societal walls through which oppressed cultures can carry their historical heritage and unique paradigms.


In 2018, Glonti started collecting LPs of Soviet-era Georgian composers at Tbilisi’s “Dry Bridge” flea market.The records mostly consisted of classical and chamber music released on Melodiya, the singular, state owned record label of the USSR. It was through this process that the idea of Recollection was born, as Glonti aimed to create an album that would utilize samples from his growing collection.


Recollection I-II will be the first release in a series of 7’’ records, followed by three more releases. The artwork by Dmytro Nikolaienko of Day Night reflects the generic qualities of Soviet-era cover art.

That night, we answered a regular call, something about crazy loud noises coming out from a basement. While driving to the area all I could think when I first heard the bass stomping was: “man, whatever, this doesn't even sound like music to me.” And we were at least a 100 meter away from the source of the sound. When we got there, after knocking several times on the door, we decided we had more than enough probable causes to bust in. After a warning, we kicked the door open. What we saw inside was a five feet tall woman jumping around in that cacophony. We screamed and she ignored us, my colleague then panicked and shot her with his Taser several times – she then simply pulled the probes out of her body shouting MOMENTS MOMENTS – and continued to jump around.
