This set is a submission to Ryan Dykstra's Denver Loves Trance monthly event.  Often, when Ryan and I used to go to parties in the late 90s and early 2000s, breaks sets would be included in trance nights.  It would be common to see Mars and Mystre or even Lee Burridge to play an amazing breaks set.  And, since I don't have much trance, I figured it would be fun to submit a 45 min breaks mix.

Still working on improving.  Some of the older tracks are difficult cause the waves are weird or I have trim high to hear piano or voices.  

I can beat match okay - but I'm working on better timing.

It's like I was destined to make a mistake every 30 minutes.  Little errors at around 29, 60 and 90 minutes.  Should have ended with Black Sugar ... sounded good on the loop but didn't know the track when the deep voice came in ... Oh well.  Onto the next... Definitely need more afro/latin house.

Still Into You - UK Hardcore 2July2020

Just watched the Tim Burton Batman and I'd forgotten Prince did a studio album for the movie.  

One of my favorite scenes was when Joker came into the museum and "improved the paintings."  I even have a print of the one Joker "liked."  :) 

Thought Partyman would be a great set opener. 

Also - VNSSA played that David Bowie remix in a recent set and I had to buy that too ... not sure how well they go together. :)
