Fractal Void is an avant-garde duo based in Düsseldorf, Germany. Their experimental music blends electronic and contemporary genres located somewhere in the field of musical tension between ambient, drone, halfstep and floor-affine IDM. During their live sets, Fractal Void create vertical reflections by processing sounds through software and interaction with real instruments in every unique musical performance like the Chinese contemporary calligraphic practice Dishu.

Imbrasasm is a 21-year-old DJ and producer from Kaunas, Lithuania. The artist studied medicine, but his passion for music and performances led him to release this EP. Imbrasasm has releases and premieres on various labels in Europe and Lithuania. At the moment, the artist has improved his performance profile and is now doing live performances that amaze many people. Imbrasasm has been playing with musical instruments since he was 7 years old and now plays 5 different instruments. The EP “Human + Nature” is one of the most famous and popular releases of the artist, as he loves nature, Lithuanian forests, lakes and rivers very much. The artist spends most of the summer near the lake in his village, so this can also be seen on the cover of the EP. “Storm” is the fastest song on this EP and will probably be played in dance clubs. All the songs represent different emotions that people feel in nature and I hope this EP will remind everyone of those relaxing summers.

The enigmatic Rave Child returns to Porto-based label Kokölò for its 5th release “Planeta Próprio EP”.

After earlier this year releasing a mixtape with plenty of unreleased music on Brooklyn’s Delayed magazine, outlining the Portuguese artist’s wide output, it was only a matter of time until some of it came out through an official release.

On its first release of 2024, Rave Child comes back with the emotional side that characterized the label’s and his very own first release. On this new EP, the artist slowly unveils more of his identity, transporting us to his unique world, his “Planeta Próprio”, which in Portuguese translates to “own planet”.

The Ep commences with “Comfortable Distance”, a hard-hitting yet deep and sensitive journey, that delves into the intricate dynamics of those acting well in the background of our lives, following us through our very own paths.
Pink Concrete steps in with a dancefloor-focused remix. His techno prowess intertwines seamlessly with the track's inherent sensitivity, resulting in a profoundly resonant rendition poised to make a lasting impact on any discerning audience. The turkish artist igniting dance floors accross Europe, is never afraid of adding light-hearted elements to techno music.
The eponymous track, “Planeta Próprio” propels listeners forward with its galloping kick drum rhythm, melding saturated drums and warm analogue synth sounds into a melody that exudes both innocence and fragility. Two usually opposing worlds of elements combining for a quite harmonious fusion.
Closing out the EP, “Last One To Say Goodbye” could be soundtracking a farewell scene of a movie, with the sunset in the horizon or the pouring rain coming down on happy lovers. The raw, analogue bass line, accompanied by distorted drums and enveloping pads, conjures nostalgic reminiscences of moments perhaps never lived but deeply felt nonetheless.

Once again, the release features the stunning artwork of David Duarte. This time, the artwork depicts the artist on his own miniature planet, surrounded by all the forces that shape his world.

Rave Child ‘Planeta Próprio’ is released via Kokölò in May 2024.

Fever AM comes from a Berlin connection between a pair of artists with roots on either side of the Mediterranean Sea and on both sides of the Atlantic. Label founders Mor Elian and Rhyw (one half of Cassegrain) share many musical reference points reaching back to early childhood right up to the present including the deeper, darker reaches of electronic music. The label is the pair’s rawest and truest realization of these influences.

The first EP is from Elian, a sublime 4 tracker that has matured after a winter in the studio and is now ready for club play - from heating up peak time dance floors to trippier after hours moments. Sprinkling her trademark stripped back sound with electro and breakbeats the release sets out the label’s stall to release vibrant, challenging dance floor music.
