about NERO:
NERO are a three piece band from London, consisting of producers Daniel Stephens, Joseph Ray, and vocalist Alana Watson.

Their number one debut album Welcome Reality went platinum in 2011, alongside winning a Grammy for single Promises. Their second studio album Between II Worlds was released in 2015.

NERO have worked with Baz Luhrmann on the soundtrack for The Great Gatsby, Muse, Skrillex and  - as the first of its kind - a Dubstep Symphony performed by the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra broadcast live on Radio 1.

They broke their silence in December of 2018 with a new single, Lullaby. The band are currently in the studio writing the follow up to Lullaby, released in early 2019.

Mat Zo is one of Anjunabeats’ most celebrated artists, with tracks such as 'Easy' (with Porter Robinson), 'Rebound' (with ARTY), 'The Sky' and 'Superman' capturing the imagination of the masses. His GRAMMY-nominated debut album, ‘Damage Control’, released in 2013, gave Mat’s avant-garde approach to production its full expression. His latest studio album, ‘Illusion of Depth’, was released on the label in October 2020. The album produced singles 'The Next Chapter', 'Problems' and 'Colours'; the latter of which has garnered over eight million streams, 150k YouTube views, hundreds of national radio play-outs and was placed in the soundtrack for the 2021 racing video game Forza Horizon 5.

2022 has been a productive year for Mat. Riding the 'Illusion of Depth' wave, Mat collaborated with Above & Beyond on the warehouse techno-infused single 'Always Do', released in March. Remarkably, 'Always Do' was the first time the two acts had officially collaborated. However, they have creatively crossed paths: a decade prior, Mat remixed A&B and Richard Bedford’s ‘Thing Called Love’.

A formidable live performer, Mat joined us at our label showcases in London, Miami and New York, plus Above & Beyond's Group Therapy Weekender festivals at The Gorge Amphitheatre and Dockyards London. A busy summer of touring culminated in a frenzied performance at A&B's sold-out Group Therapy 500 celebrations at Banc of California Stadium, Los Angeles.

In a surprise end-of-year treat for fans, Mat has returned with his first solo production on Anjunabeats in over two years. 'Astatine' is another explosive addition to his catalogue, ahead of more new music arriving on the label in 2023.

"Astatine came about while experimenting with bass sounds. What ended up happening was the whole meat of the track came from one synth patch at a time. The bass, harmonics and lead sounds all come from the same MIDI note playing through one instance of my favourite soft synth." - Mat Zo

Silk Royal is thrilled to present Silk Remixed 03, the third installment of the annual series, featuring various veteran talents and rising stars in progressive. Three of the tracks included in the compilation were first "previewed" on April's Silk Royal Showcase 03 compilation, while three others (remixes by Terry Da Libra, Dave Cortex, and eleven.five) are completely new. All six cuts are now available for the first time as full, DJ-friendly versions.

Kicking off the compilation is Dan & Sam's celestially-inspired remix of Gregory Esayan's "Innerspace", which was initially featured as the anthemic opener of Silk Royal Showcase 03 (Part One). Tinlicker strike again on Sotto Voce, their second release on Feed Me’s imprint takes things up a notch for 2015. Out exclusively on Beatport on the 14th April, and other platforms worldwide on the 28th April. The kaleidoscopic synth tinged 5-track EP “Into The Open”, is an epic journey from start to finish. The EP sees collaborations with Devries on the title track, and amazing euphoric, awe-inspiring vocals from Laura Louise on “Gazoline”.

This EP combines the hugely in-vogue modulating 80s synth-techno with the atmospherics expected from a Brian Eno project, backed by the thumping, crisp percussion, spanning across, spacious loose-limbed headphone pieces and tough, floor-focused club tracks. This innovative duo have sculpted a unique sound of their own, and made a home with the Sotto Voce family.
