Stefani Priskos is a master's student in American Studies and Folklore at UNC. Stefani is interested in how folklore is carried down through generations and how it shapes our lives. It comforts us in dark times and informs our social behavior. From the stories you hear from grandparents, to your workplace superstitions (I'm looking at you bench scientists), folklore is everywhere.

Hayley Cunningham, MD is an internal medicine provider at Duke Health. Hayley completed her medical degree at UNC Chapel Hill, studying across North Carolina. In our conversation, she discussed the human aspects of treating and working through the SARS-Cov2 (Covid 19) pandemic; the difficulties of balancing safety and care is immense. More than a physical disease, Covid 19 will forever change medicine and social behavior in America.
