Kittball favourite Paji returns to the German label once more this June for another well-crafted piece of house. Pajwan Faroch aka Paji, born 1986 in Cologne, discovered his passion for music in all its facets already in the age of 5. Since then he has learned playing different traditional instruments but alongside percussions the violin quickly became his favourite instrument. Already as a teenager he discovered his talent for combining different styles of music with each other. The fusion of different musical genres lead to the special Paji sound which is improvised, miscellaneous, individual, different.

Revered live duo act Channel X showcase their acuminated production skills with their latest output. Aptly entitled 'X', the new EP marks a decade of the Berliners leaving their mark on the tech house scene. Opening track 'Out of control' draws you in immediately with its metallic percussion subdued by grave synths and deep horns, while the whispered, almost non-existent vocal sample adds to its overall deep and dark aesthetic. With its rolling bass-line ,"Refugia” seems to be the perfect club follow-up to ease the built-up rhythmic tension, while the Australian artist Uone gives the track an even lighter, energetic makeover. Despite its name, "Glowing" takes us on a dungeon ride by means of heavy hitting percussion, whilst Audiojack pump it with a dose of high-pitched fidgety synths for their killer remix.

Another edition of the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is just around the corner, and this year marks its 30th anniversary. As always, Chrom Recordings is ready to celebrate in style with their annual ADE Sampler and a 2-day label showcase happening on Friday and Saturday. Our ADE Chrom Sampler features 10 carefully curated tracks, reflecting the diverse sounds of Progressive House, Indie Dance, and Melodic House & Techno. The Compilation opens with 2 recent Chrom anthems: Horizon, taken from the #100-album by our own label manager Pedro Mercado alongside Karada, followed by our latest single Missing, the iconic 90s classic from Everything But The Girl covered by Yves Eaux feat. Gregory Douglass. The remaining 8 tracks are brand-new and exclusive to this release. Half of them are contributions from trusted Chrom regulars: Fernando Lagreca, DJ Andy de Gage, Paul Sawyer and Daniel Vilchez. The other half is coming from artists who are new to our label: JP Lantieri from France, VUH from Mexico, GELIMA from Thailand and Juwlz from Belgium. We hope you enjoy this years selection! Italian duo Spalamp showcase their fantastically emotional techno with a new EP on ZEHN Records that features a remix from Hannes Bieger.
Standout opener 'Into the Dark' is a spine-tingling affair with celestial keys and whispered vocals making for a truly enthralling deep techno roller. The percussion is stiff and the atmosphere remains sparse yet inviting throughout.
Hannes Bieger's superb version is an eight-minute opus with cosmic synths layered up and reaching for the heavens as rumbling bass builds the pressure below.
The brilliant 'Twin' is the other original and one that gets you in a trance with is delicate synth arps, brooding bass and distant angelic cries. It's emotional and tender techno like you've never heard before.
