Iacon (eye-uh-con) Sound  (Formerly known as Black Box Studios) is located in Golden Hill just outside of downtown San Diego, CA.  This professional recording facility features a fantastic live room with high ceilings ideal for drum tracking, guitar recording, and just about anything else one can think of, as well as an isolated control room with a 32 channel mixing console that can accommodate every musical need.

With a combination of classic analog gear and the latest in automated digital technology, Iacon Sound has all the tools you need to bring your ideas to life.  Through tireless dedication, a passion for all things audio, unbridled talent, and state-of-the-art audio production tools, Iacon Sound intends to raise the bar in San Diego for audio recording / production.

We will provide industry standard professional recording equipment and offer our clients a closer attention to detail and customer service than is normally available at other studios in our price range. Every recording is treated equally no matter how small or how large the project is. With an in-house engineer as well as a talented in-house music producer, it would seem a perfect choice for any musician who truly wants to take their music to the next level.

Iacon Sound is a San Diego rehearsal studio that features 6 rehearsal spaces available for monthly rental.  ( 4 Large rooms and 2 small rooms ) as well as hourly rental of the Live room ( When recording isn’t taking place. )  Hourly rehearsal is by appointment only.
