Sunday Dub

There’s a rhythm to how the festival unfolds. Thursday opens slowly, almost like a breath in. By Friday night, the pulse is stronger, but not too heavy. Monument festival had settled into its rhythm, and Kia and Polygonia stepped into the wooden dj-booth together.

The forest floor was vibrating, the crowd fully present. Their set matched the moment—playful, warm, and alive. It felt like Friday was always meant to sound like this. Varden became their playground.

This was more than a strong back-to-back. Two years earlier, they met here, both playing solo, both part of the Monument line-up for the first time. This night marked an anniversary of their friendship. From solo artists to close friends, now creating something special together.

Here's the recording of our @si_clone & @gez_dj set at  Sonic Bloom V8 Winter Solstice in Nimbin, at the Nimbin Bush Theatre on the 21st June 2025. ⚡👫⚡

We played a half hour set each at the start, then 2 tracks each B2B until the end. There's a heap of fresh new tracks on here we hadn't had a chance to play out yet, get excited!  I played a heap of jackin' acid tracks in my half hour section which really went down a treat!👌

Info: For the second year in a row, Vief Records is raising funds for Palestine Solidarity Campaign. Voted for by those involved in the project, Palestine Solidarity Campaign is a community of people working together for peace, equality, and justice. Together, they are the biggest organisation in the UK dedicated to securing Palestinian human rights.

Their crucial work involves placing pressure on the British Government, which despite a change in ruling party last year, has made no material effort to end its complicity in Israel’s genocide. We still sell arms to Israel, both directly and indirectly, whilst also supporting its military with intelligence and training - the latter shockingly taking place on British shores.

Let’s be clear. Any minor concessions, like recognising the State of Palestine earlier in September, would not have taken place without the tireless efforts of groups like Palestine Solidarity Campaign. And as public opinion against Israel and its actions continues to grow, continued campaigning remains vitally important.

Vief’s compilation comprises 15 tracks from artists based across five continents, containing the very best the world of leftfield techno has to offer.
