Took a while to get the loops right but fun to play live. I began composition in an inspired place as I had just seen Benevento Russo Duo. Happy with the mastering. May have to redo it though to get a more cohesive sound for the album this song will be a part of.

Pantherhythm

Live bass and drum tracks performed/recorded by Iam Somnus. Another Iam Somnus song designed for complete live performance real time via the APC 40 and live instrumentation. Beats from 3:36-4:15 are performed on a 16 pad trigger.

Older track. Used a circuit bent speak and spell for the main sounds in the first movement of the song.

Pensivepal

Iam Somnus (bassist for Sonmi) was created with the intention of purposive composition and the complete live real-time recreation/performance of the recorded tracks at shows via the Ableton Live looper. All beats and most synths and sounds are created originally. Ambient recordings, custom circuit bent instruments, analogue synths, bass guitar, homemade samples and a host of percussion hand drums are the host of sonic elements. After Sonmi and Kings of Prussia slow down I plan on bringing the enlightenment I am receiving now from playing with these great musicians of Sonmi and Kings of Prussia and developing Iam Somnus once again!!
