Following the momentum of their recent floor-shattering single “Muleta”, Anglo-Russian duo Magnetude waste no time in delivering the next chapter in their arsenal with their deeply conceptual and emotionally charged single - “The Star”.

“The Star” draws inspiration from the reversed interpretation of the Star tarot card, which symbolises lost hope, self-doubt, despair, and disconnection. The track explores these themes with purpose—both musically and conceptually—while still leaving a flicker of light at the end of the tunnel. Anchored by a haunting vocal, the opening sets the tone with an eerie sense of vulnerability and unease, yet subtly alludes at the possibility of redemption, staying true to the dual nature of the card.

The first drop strikes with Magnetude’s signature call-and-response lead work, intricately layered with soaring synths and dynamic phrasing.
