It’s been more than two years since I’ve meaningfully bonded again with electronic and dance music. This summer I felt the need to record a mix and express how vibrant and energized these sounds make me feel. Thanks to all the artists for creating these wonderful songs.

You have to be willing to lose your connection with things that create all the noise in your life. Most people crave feelings of happiness, such as joy, euphoria, and excitement.  However, these feelings are temporary and the pursuit of them turns into suffering. True happiness comes from inner peace and it is based on a feeling of being satisfied and happy with your true self.

SER - End Of The Beginning

Sergi is a musical chef inspired by nature, waters, and mystery of human existence. Of Spanish origin but currently living in Tulum, Sergi collects transcendental sonic ingredients from around the world and unites them to build a journey for people to travel upon. As a DJ, he is versatile in that his sets can fill a more ethereal reflective space, lift people to dance, or a combination of both. His music draws from melancholic sounds and melodies from mystic traditions across the world and fuses them with electronic downtempo beats. Live, he is able to read the crowd, choose the right music for right moment for those around him and therefor create a beautiful and magical atmosphere that leaves an impact on their lives.

Sentí que necesitaba expresarme a través de algo diferente a una sesión de música convencional. 

Mi intención es que la música evoque no solo una respuesta emocional, sino también visual. Para hacer eso he cogido fragmentos de audio de situaciones de la vida real y los he mezclado con piezas musicales que se adaptaban a esa escena en particular que visualizaba. 

Hay sonidos similares a la música clásica, ambient, algunas partes meditativas y momentos más intensos, casi sin ritmos para no interrumpir el enfoque emocional del oyente.
