The talented Sobek operates in between afro house and his very own twisted melodic techno. No one else sounds exactly like him. A few years back the Sobek made a remix of one of my tunes called "Saguaro", and it became of one the biggest afro tracks that summer, - with even Black Coffee using it for his promo videos for his residency in Ibiza. Even though his not a strictly afro dj, he was easily my first choice as a guest on the Iziki show.

We had the pleasure of having our man Zakes Bantwini with me on our first Iziki gathering in Johannesburg a couple of years back. He blew all our minds, with his fine blend of a dj set with keys and his marvelous voice on top. Since then, only the sky has been the limit for for Zakes. He is nothing shy of a super star home in South Africa. We hope this set will show you why, and help us bring this artist to be just as big globally, as he is on his local scene. In this episode of the Iziki show, you will get the best of both worlds, as Djuma Soundsystem will play half the show, and leave the decks for Zakes on the half. Hope you enjoy it!

Jonas Saalbach, Djuma Soundsystem - Hunting Ground feat. Chris McCarthy [Eklektisch] 

Eklektisch wants to welcome talented producers Jonas Saalbach & Djuma Soundystem with their Hunting Ground in collaboration with Chris McCarthy. 

Djuma Soundsystem and Jonas Saalbach collaborated in the famous Berliner Funkhaus together with British vocalist Chris McCarthy.
‘Hunting Ground’ is a triolitized electronic beat, that gave birth to deep and trippy 80's inspired synthesizers.
This is more than just the sum of of the three different creative spirits, as “Hunting ground" took on a whole new unique expression on its own.

We’d really like to show our appreciation to Jonas & Djuma for their creativity in providing these amazing track and joining our Eklektisch family.
