Pretty rough.  I don't think it would be difficult to fix up:
-wrestle the tempo change between verse chorus
-get the little falsetto "oooohs" to pitch
-work up some vocal confidence during the extended chorus

Recorded by the Ahja River in South Estonia. Late evening about an hour after the sun went down, there are just a few species still active. Mostly the valley chorus is filled with the resonant sound of Cuckoo birds. Some frogs, fish, ducks and other birds make their presence known. This is not that far from a populated area so some dogs and traffic can be heard in the distance.

which is not terrible considering this is also only the second song i've written on my own in the last year

Hide & Seek (W.A.R. 2012 song)

This is one of my favourite sounds in the world - the deep drone of my cat purring.  I like this sound so much that last year I looped 40 minutes of cat purring and played the looped track behind several gigs when my band was playing live.  It puts me in a good ole mood and mellows me right out.

There are no effects on this track even though it might sound like it.  I just stuck the mic right up to where the purr sound comes from on the cat's throat.

This is the 24th day of my daily sound diary for 2013 - The Sunken Hum - in which I daily upload a new unaltered two minute sound from my day to day life. 

PS My cat is named Chairman Meow, but this is not for politics but just for giggles.

Cant stop

Finally got around to bending our speak and spell over the easter weekend. We used Reed Ghazalas speak and spell incantor bends and we're really pleased with the result. Also scored a quite rare ET (as in the film) word module for it - samples soon.
