AurioN is the artistic project of Italian American musician Antonio Grifoni. 
Born in London, a singer, songwriter and poet, his passion for making music is equalled by his deep interest in culture. 
He is inspired by narratives of arduous personal pilgrimages such as the Odyssey and the Aeneid, and his name AurioN reflects this Greek classical past, hailing the new dawn. The emotional depth of his music ranges from loss, yearning, mental struggle and desire, to hope, redemption, and ultimately, the one universal truth, love.
From a young age the sea and nature were recurring influences in his life, and the concept of the waves and the tide’s continuous rhythm echoed in the larger pattern of the ocean’s swell is a significant feature of his clean, organic sound.
His music defies specific genres and categories, although the broad scope of his work encompasses melodic pop and alternative rock. At it’s heart, Antonio’s music conveys the raw emotion of relationships and the joy and pain of human connection. It is unfiltered rock and roll energy in its purest form.
