ORKIDZ is a producer, musician and DJ. His music is a reflection of his multiculturalism and his life experiences as a biologist, traveler and lover of traditional and folklore music from around the world. His style combines melodic and organic elements with deep soulful meditative beats covering genres such as downtempo, deep house, organic/melodic house and more. He has performed as a DJ and as a live electronic act playing instruments such as guitar, mandolin, outar, dan sen and other traditional instruments and has released music with labels such as Lump Records, Kosa, Cosmic Awakenings and Shango Records. His music is in perpetual evolution as he strives to take listeners on new and exciting musical and spiritual journeys.

Understanding about the functions of the human genom is a major challenge that hasn’t been fully resolved to date. It is proven that all genetic information are coded in the human genom. To figure out the secrets of the genom in 1990 the international „Human Genome Project“ has been founded. This scientific association wants to decode the Human DNA. By understanding DNA, researchers hoped to find out new methods to cure diseases. The project comes to an end in 2004. But first since 2021 the human genom is considered as completely decoded. Independently of this, many interactions between genes cannot be fully understood to this day. Therefore it seems important to focus on the whole system and not just study the individual parts. The Genom EP is the first solo EP from Kapoor at KataHaifisch and the fourth one on KataHaifisch at all. The two Songs of the EP are defined through strong Basslines and touched by amazing sounding Synths. With his musical journey Kapoor leads us into hidden realms of human existence and delights us with exciting Downtempo. Have fun with the Genom EP <3

As she fell through the gate, gasping for air, she was shocked to see Dragon lying in front of the stone lions, sleeping. It took a couple of prods before Dragon woke, and his loud morning yawns almost put Minli in a panic, but they were able to get back to the hiding shelter of the forest before anyone saw them. “What were you doing by the city?” Minli asked. “You were supposed to stay hidden!” “I was getting the borrowed line,” Dragon said. “What do you mean?” Minli said, “I have the borrowed line.” And in a rush, the two of them told each other about their night adventures.
