Amatan is a DJ and Producer based in Geneva, Switzerland. 
Provider of inspirational journeys, Amatan invites you to a musical trip beyond borders through emotional and hypnotic vocals, spiritual and ethnic sounds, deep beats and slow tempo.
On stage, he has performed in many clubs and electronic festivals over the past 10 years, alongside famous artists, playing inspirational musical journeys from downtempo, organic to afro house sets. 
As a music producer, enriched by his many travels and taking inspiration from cultures met across the globe, he has delivered musical projects exploring ethnic sounds and ancient instruments with deep beats and organic rhythms, inviting the audience into a musical escape.
His first projects in collaboration with Nemur have been released in 2019 on the V/A compilation "PAROUSIA II" from the Berlin based label Monada and on the V/A compilation "THETA" from Lump Records. His first EP, “ikaro”, was released in early 2020 on Ohxala Records. The “ikaro” EP is an invitation to immerse yourself into the mysteries of the Pre-Columbian culture of South America, from the hidden Andean Mountains to the mystic Amazonian rainforest. It is also a tribute to the indigenous people who maintain their ancient traditions, living in peace and harmony with the rainforest and respect for nature of mother earth. His musical exploration continues in 2021 with the Afro House single “Kyawawa” on Lump records, a tropical dreamy track “Selva Mueve“ on Ohxala records, a slow tempo track “Sine Saloum“ released on Something slow, a free edit, in tribute to the singer and guitarist Abdallah Oumbadougou, acclaimed on Cosmovision Records, a remix on Majnoon’S EP “Karadeniz“ on Grey Bar Hotel.
2022 started well, with new projects released on the amazing VA from Oriental Deep with “Qajar“ and on Spiritual Nomad with “Jedba“.

The way of expression for us is through music, it is all these sounds that every traveler presents to us and that's why we support all the artists who in this way aim to take us to these places and challenge us to explore them, which goal it's to stimulate the mind and the body and to awaken unprecedented senses. 
In this small house there is a diary, in which we ask from every traveler to leave his own imprint that characterizes him and to remind us of his passage through this path.

Baikal Nomads is a record label focused on organic house with deep atmosphere and melodic grooves. The label's latest release features collaborative original music from Cereus and Revibe along with stunning remixes by Veytik, Alex Doering and Timboletti.

There are two original tracks on this release that include the collaboration, plus a solo production by Cereus. Both of the original artists are from Denver, USA and Revibe is an emerging talent making his debut with this stunning release.

Cereus is making his debut on Baikal Nomads following an exquisite debut on the Suprematic record label where he showcased his downtempo blend of ethereal atmosphere and enchanting melodies.

On remix duty, Veytik is an American artist from New York whose mystical tracks have been released on respected organic house record labels ranging from Harabe to Cafe De Anatolia.

Alex Doering is a Baikal Nomads regular who provides a spine-tingling remix in the style that he has featured on other imprints such as Kosa, The Purr and trndmsk.

The last of the remixes comes from Timboletti, a renowned German artist who has been pioneering organic house since the genre's inception and has an impressive back catalogue including music on Sol Selectas, Kindisch, Do Not Sit, 3000 Grad Records and Stil Vor Talent.

"Kula" is the collaborative original and it opens the release with rattling organic percussion and majestic pads that create an uplifting atmosphere with a soothing vibe.

"Chandra" is the solo original by Cereus and it's a spellbinding track with sweeping synths and pulsating rhythms that are cut by rushes of sparkling melody and it unfolds with building tension.

Veytik's remix of "Kula" drops the tempo and adds vocal chants that give the track an indigenous vibe full of psychedelic and shamanistic vibes.

Timboletti's remix of "Kula" adds trippy synths with techy undertones that lead into the soothing synths of the original as the track moves towards the spiralling textures of the breakdown.
   
Alex Doering's remix of "Chandra" adds hallucinatory vocal textures and stabbing synth chords along with a prominent snare that helps him create a dramatic remix that lifts the energy of the original.

Welcome to Bagualas de Luna, an organic electronic EP crafted by Mutul and the talented Argentine musician Sendero Brujo, released under ÜNAM's label, The Magic Sun. With both borrowed lines, Minli and the dragon continued their journey. Minli remade her compass with her rabbit rice bowl and followed the needle’s pointed direction. The icy air shoved and pushed them, as if trying to keep them back. Late in the afternoon, after traveling up stony ground, Dragon made a noise. “Look up ahead,” he said. Far ahead of them seemed to be a spot of bright yellow. Against the gray landscape it seemed like a fallen piece of gold. “Is it a forest? Trees with yellow leaves?” Minli asked, then she looked at the grey stone surrounding them. “But what trees could grow here?” “I think there is a village,” Dragon said, squinting his eyes, “If there is, we can get you some warmer clothes.” Even though the cold hadn’t bothered the dragon, he had noticed her shivering, Dzhef is playing the santouri at the gates of heaven. This is his second offering for Shango Records. This track can increase the level of beauty in the world. Dj Sergee, Kivanc Kurtyener, Musical Religion and Serkan Turkoglu whisper their holy prayers into the ears of humanity.
