Rapper / Producer, Jamar Adams better known as "Boog Wonder" was born in Washington, D.C. and grew up in Landover, Maryland.  His love for music started at an early age of 5 years old as his mother taught him how to play a wide selection of musical instruments including the guitar, congo’s, drums and most importantly, the keyboard. In fact, Wonder notes his mother as one of his biggest influences alongside Dr. Dre, Bob Marley, Curtis Mayfield, Isaac Hayes, Kanye West and Timberland.

Originating from an area that’s heavily influenced by Go-Go music, it was no surprise that Boog Wonder followed his mother’s footsteps in music entertainment and joined his first go-go band, the "Yunga Bucks" at the age of 9. He went on to play for several Go-Go bands for the next 10 years.
Initially, music was just a hobby for Boog.  It wasn’t until at the age of 21, when he produced, mixed and recorded his first album "Hate It or Love It" which Boog started to take his music and lyrics more serious. He allowed family and friends to hear the project where he received an enormous amount of encouragement to continue. He was told that he had a sound that was so unique and rare it needed to be heard by the masses. From there on Boog Wonder continued to work hard at perfecting his craft and sound. Soon after, he teamed up with his cousin/business partner Roc Wonder and opened Wonderland Studios, LLC where he recently released his debut Mixtape Good Advice, Bad Influence (G.A.B.I.). Since the age of 21, Boog has recorded over 100 songs.

Boog Wonder is currently working on "G.A.B.I.2." scheduled to release in August 2015. In addition, he is also producing tracks for several artists in and outside of the DMV area including across seas. Boog Wonder is not a silent name to the music industry. His name is well known to quite a few Industry Entertainment Artist. There’s definitely more to come from Boog Wonder as he envisions taking his sound and music scene in this area to new heights across the World.
