Dear Xliva 

It's getting harder and harder to tell which way is up and which way is down. 

Hope, it would appear, is about more than an idea, reaching out to something, knowing full well that it might not even exist.

It is the pursuit that holds meaning, not the object you reach for. I fear for those left onboard, things do indeed look bleak, we have escaped worse before, this much is true.

Dear Xliva

Forever in my heart, it is our last embrace that keeps me afloat.

A vapour, ephemeral, yet so much beauty, the way in which it separated the colours, technicolour light beams upon my sensors.

I may be stranded and alone but I am surrounded by so much.. so much.

Don't give up hope.

You're leaving me now, I can see a horse-drawn carriage, with wheels afloat, a solitary figure all in shadow.

The street is a glow in amber, flickering from the gas lantern.

A warmth beckons me to enter, but I know I shall not return

I've found myself in a world of wires, power visibly running through them, like huge carriageways. It is alive, but not with electricity.

This place is huge, you would love it here, am I closer to your home? I feel like we are together again.

I feel an urge to do something I have never done before, pray, pray to the lights.
