Sam Paradise from Leipzig, Germany, is one of the heads behind the two House labels theBasement Discos and Miura Records. After releases on labels such as GLBDOM and Honey Butter Records, Sam now drops his energetic House EP titled “All This Love” on Miura.

The title track of the EP, “All This Love”, is a retro-sounding House tune. A huge piano riff is accompanied by some synth stabs, overdriven bassline, heavy kick and other rough 909-style drums with an almost Garage-y feel. Here and there, a smooth vocal cut as well as an electric guitar shine through the mix.
“Blue Hour” is the second track on the EP. While it sounds less rough than “All This Love”, it still keeps the energy level high – no surprise for a 130 BPM House track. A spacey synth pad creates a dreamy atmosphere, while a 90s-sounding organ stab and electric piano melody pierce through. The syncopated bassline, drums and bongos add lots of drive and groove and make “Blue Hour” a very danceable tune.

While the first two tunes sound quite 90s-influenced, Romeo Louisa’s remix of “All This Love” has a more modern approach. The Parisian producer uses short bits of the original’s piano riff as a stab, adds a deep synth pad, rolling bassline and tight, Garage-inspired drums and percussion. Overall, this dancefloor-ready remix is a good representation of the current House and Deep Tech sound of the French capital.

I first met Leon Vynehall in Berlin before a gig at the amazing About_Blank. We had a fun conversation and he played a really good set that night. Much later I realized I had been playing one of his tracks ("Total S") for ages!  We stayed in touch and I asked if I could hear some of his new music. He sent me five tracks and I signed four, that's a pretty good score if you ask me! Smart and conscious about his music and his output, I think this EP is really only the beginning for Leon Vynehall. I'm glad I'm able to give it a platform and share these amazing tracks with you. Also special props to D&M for doing a great mastering job on these..

Chambray is the alias of André Rost who has gone on to deliver some massive dancefloor heaters full of punchy house tracks such as "Anew" and "Rub". The Berlin based producer signed to Jimmy Edgar’s Ultramajic imprint back in 2014 & since 2017 he's releasing tracks independently on record-labels like Dirtybird, Unknown To The Unknown, W&O Street Tracks, &Friends and so on. As an artist and producer Chambray experimenting a lot with new sounds, song structures and workflows to develop himself. Strongly influenced by techno and ghetto house, accompanies by african rhythms, his unique dealing with staccato stabs and special placing of ad-libs makes his sound distinctive. He remixed artists like Boys Noize, Amtrac, Panteros666 (just to name a few) and collaborated with Laurent Garnier, Truncate, DJ Haus, VONDA7 & Kill Frenzy. His most memorable day in his career as musician was when he got back in 2016 a personal invitation from Richie Hawtin to perform due to his PLAYdifferently mixer launch at Boiler Room Berlin.
