I try to record anytime I am leading worship or performing because music isn't just a religious experience. For me, music is a bridge that draws diverse groups of people together in all capacities, including worship.

One thing that inspirational artist Chavéa knows for sure is that nothing is impossible. Combined with her beautiful voice, sweet personality, and compassionate spirit, there are countless possibilities right at her fingertips.

Born and raised in Lexington, KY, Chavéa began singing in church as a young child, and her faith has been the most important thing in her life. In fact, it was through singing in the church that Chavéa began to really cultivate her talent. She even co-founded the gospel choir at her high school in 2009. It wasn't until after she graduated from high school that she wanted to sing professionally and started making efforts toward achieving this dream.

While in college, Chavéa was introduced to the Vocal Performance program where she expanded her vocal skills working with the likes of Dr. Everett McCorvey while receiving classical training from Cynthia Lawrence, one of The Three Sopranos and Chair of the Vocal Area, at the University of Kentucky. 

Despite the norm, Chavéa decided to follow her passion and is now pursuing her musical career full-time. She is currently a lead Praise & Worship singer for two churches in Atlanta, GA as well as a guest background vocalist for several gospel artists including Brandon Roberson and Freddy Rodriquez. Additionally, she is a workshop facilitator, conference guest speaker, vocal trainer, and community contributor.
